If you are not using IronMind lifting straps, you probably are not lifting as much as you could be

Strong-Enough Lifting Straps : The top pro strongman choice since their introduction in 2000 and probably used for more top strongman performances than all other straps combined, Strong-Enough are also the single best overall lifting straps for most people. Strong-Enough Lifting Straps were developed when Ken Brown's run-of-the-mill straps blew out at the 1999 World's Strongest Man contest, keeping him from making the finals. We said, "That shouldn't happen; we can make you some lifting straps that won't blow." The rest is history: Ken went on to break the world record in the Silver Dollar Deadlift--1,062-1/2 lb.--and Strong-Enough Straps were strong enough for the job. 21-1/4” long, loop at one end; 1-1/2" wide. Made in the USA.

Chosen by the world’s strongest men and women, IronMind’s Strong-Enough lifting straps are in a class by themselves.

These seem super high quality and will last longer than the cotton ones. (Though I am replacing the cotton ones after 6 years and they've got a little more life in them) These feel a bit slippery at first, but when they break in they are good. Minor OCD thing... There is no right or left side, so the logo faces different directions. It really doesn't matter which way they face, but I do wish they were consistent.

I do farmers carries with heavy kettlebells and, as I am getting older, I am experiencing hand pain and stiffness, because connective tissues in the hand--ligaments and tendons, shortening and lose their flexibility and lubricity (ability to slide) with age. I always look for US-made products and gladly pay a premium, when the quality for superior materials and construction. Also, cotton lifting straps get "gross" after a while, because they trap moisture. Nylon should resist dirt and smelliness better than cotton.

Pleasant texture. Easy to use. Remarkably effective. Likely to survive us all. Makes me look forward to deadlifting, which was never true before I had straps.

I've owned many sets of lifting straps. To be perfectly honest, I am too picky about my straps so I have ordered my fair share searching for that "one" perfect strap. This is as close as I have come. The seat belt like material is easy on the wrist & while providing great grip on the bar, it does NOT snag when you release your grip. The straps will just slide off of the bar. This is especially great on pull down type movements as when straps snag they tend to pull the bar down into one's head. Lol The width of the strap is also perfect. GREAT STRAPS, GET THEM.

These are the best straps I've ever owned, there's a reason so many strongman and powerlifters use them.Maybe don't drag them across the knurling and they won't fray, I wouldn't listen to those reviews, treat your equipment well and it lasts.

I bought ght these for my SO to use at a strongman competition where car deadlift was an event. We previously just had a few pairs of standard length cotton straps and during practice with the implement the straps were very hard to get around the handles as they were too thick and not long enough. When we finally managed to wrap them on as tight as possible, they would still shift and gradually come undone.Since situations like a strap coming undone or taking forever to wrap are not acceptable for competition I decided to order these. As my SO said, "if they are goid enough for the pros, they're good enough for us".The straps are very thin and narrow which means that they are flexible out of the bag and a break in period is not necessary. They are longer than standard straps. Coupled with how narrow they are, it is relatively easy to wrap the straps much tighter than others. The material also has a good bite on unknurled bars.

The best thing about these straps is that they seem to be the only ones made with the loop sewn on correctly. What I mean by this is that every other strap I've used (and I've used many...been lifting since 1978) has sewn the loop so that the sewn edge digs mercilessly into your wrists when using heavy weights. Strong Enough straps have flipped the loop back and sewn it together so the "edge" is on the outside of your wrist, not against it. It's kind of hard to explain unless you have used other straps that dig into your wrists when your moving heavy steel. These straps are by far the best I have ever used. Can't recommend them enough. No wonder the WSM guys prefer them. I was just trying a different pair the other day that are infused with rubber. They were suppose to be technologically better and more comfortable than any other straps available today. Bottom line...they suck. Again they sew the loop together so the edge of the loop digs into your wrist. They nearly broke skin on me. Buy Strong Enough Straps!

I was skeptical about what a difference the pair of straps make, but there's a reason they are so good. I'm comparing them to a pair of Valeo lifting straps that were included in a shipment from a sports company. The material the Strong Enough straps are made from is similar to the packing straps on moving vans, but a bit more heavy duty. When I used the Valeo straps for the first time, the cotton would allow me to rotate the bar to tighten down one hand while the other hand stayed in place. Thing is that the straps would also try to slip a bit. When I used the Strong-Enough straps for the first time, the synthetic material griped the bar and wouldn't let it go. It forced me to change my approach for wrapping the straps around the bar, but the end result was a much more secure grip. These things really are engineered not to break and it feels like in your hand as well.
