I was looking for leather straps that were thinner, soft, flexible, yet strong. These definitely fit the bill! There was no need to break them in; they were good to go right from the start. I did trim them down because they were long, but I have small hands and wrists. I would highly recommend them!

Warning!!! to all buyers these are not as described!! (Pic left is wraps, pic right is keyring)I wouldn’t usually bother with a review but these are so far off the mark and quite expensive. I had to put something down. They send a leather keyring/tag with the package. That is the leather they describe. A thick full grain leather that measures 1.5 inch width. It’s great quality. The leather the wraps are made from is far thinner, it’s not suitable quality to actually lift weights with. I can literally stretch the straps length wise by hand hand. (Won’t bother testing on a deadlift etc, to much stretch). These are NOT suitable for decent lifting AT ALL. They will NOT last “101” years. These are NOT made for lifters or gyms. Save your money and purchase else where. These are ornamental quality they are not suitable for purpose….

I love having these leather straps. They work better than woven ones I’ve bought; they’re thinner and provide a secure grip under weight. No chafing or burning. Plus they make my gym bag smell so good!

So far we're missing some stitching. Not a great start. They're comfy. The leather is soft and thin... hopefully not too thin.

Very comfortable but one seems thinner than the other which is not okay. Will try on Tuesday when I like and will update this..update:::: as expected, one is thinner and feels weaker compare to other strap. Will not be buying again. Disappointed more since there are not cheap. Not worth the money.

So far, been using it for about a month and no complaints, im a Bodybuilder and lifting heavy is part of the game, sometimes my grip don't allow me to get as many reps in, so these definitely come in handy!

firstly, this leather is pre-broken in and very supple + grippy for the intended use.secondly, the fact that i could get this for under $20 is crazy and definitely a steal for the quality.lastly, im not a huge fan of lasso straps as the stitching for the loop irritates my inner wrist; so, i unstitched them and fashioned them into quick-release, olympic style straps and they're perfect.i take care of my equipment, ive had 2 other pairs of lifting straps that i fashioned into olympic straps as well, and theyre both still kicking after 2+ years of use- i can see these hide & drink straps lasting well beyond that.my final note will be a suggestion to the manufacturer: sell olympic style straps as well!

Tried these and wanted to like them. The leather is too thin and cuts into my wrists.
