I can’t really speak for the longevity of this product as I just received it. Despite the fact that the outer shell packaging arrived beat up, to my surprise, the actual bar arrived in pristine condition, no rust, no scratches, no dings at the tips where I assumed there would be some sort of damage considering it was just some heavy tape holding the bar inside the tube. The bar functions as advertised and I am pleased with the purchase.

This has to be the best bang for your buck barbell ! Very great quality and I highly recommend for a garage gym.

Quality is good, just what I was looking for. Delivered timely. Delivered with care. I will say; the packing was quite the challenge to get open but I consider that a good thing because it kept the bar in good shape. But be prepared to work on getting it open and out of the packaging haha.

4 stars may be unfair, because all Olympic bars might have the same depth of knurling. But it feels pretty sharp after a while. You probably wear gloves anyway when you lift, but you will definitely have to with this bar. I might even wind electrical tape around my grip areas.Delivery was great--a day and a half after I placed my order.Thanks!

I ordered this 7ft bar as a Christmas present for myself. The packaging was top notch with zero damage to the bar during shipping. The bar itself feels as a premium bar should feel but without the premium cost. It uses bearings instead of bushings and the collars will spin for days with weights on them. The knurling is aggressive but doesn’t cut into your hands. There is no center knurling which for some can be a no go for squaring however I use a REP squat pad on the bar while doing squats so it doesn’t affect my use case. I think that this is a very good beginner bar for anyone looking to start a home gym. You will be getting a good quality bay that should last for years to come even well after you decide to upgrade to a Rogue or Rep bar down the road.
