The clips that hold the lid on are missing on both litter boxes . So it the lid stay on snug when the cats scratch 🤷🏻♀️Also the door doesn’t swing so I had to take that off.I sure wish I noticed all these problems before they were used….

I live in 2 homes, and I wanted to have the option to move the litter easily. The handle makes life easy and being able to separate the top and bottom makes cleaning easy

The box is a good size and fits nicely in the corner of the room. However, like many reviews, it was missing one of the clips to keep it closed. Apparently this is a quality control issue that the company should rectify. I am going to keep it, but I have to say that missing part is disappointing. I would have given it a much better review.

I have a little cat that is super messy, and I live in a little house, so this box is just right! It’s plenty big enough for him to use but fits right into a corner. The scoop doesn’t actually fit under the lid but it hooks to the side just fine. I’m very happy with this purchase

Good litter box ..will take a bit of time for the cats to get used to the flap door. Meanwhile it folds up to leave entry wide open.❤️👍

Love this Box. It fits great into the corner. As far as the door you can remove it. I got the large size but if you have a cat over 9 lbs. you should get a size bigger. Everything is made nicely.

Like: lightweight, easy to snap lidand it’s enough to hold a fair amount of litter.I removed the flap and cats have easy in and out access.Litter stays more contained after replacing one with no lid.Nice color choicesNot so much: Comes with a scoop that can hang on the side, but it’s so small. I don’t use.Because of rounded sides it’s hard to scoop all the sides and really clean adequately. And definitely a minor issue, but it’s not easy to grab the handle on top to remove it for cleaning out.

This was the only reasonably priced hooded litter box I could find on Amazon. It is good quality, looks nice, and has a flat base which makes it easy to clean. It is smaller than I expected, which isn't a problem because I have a small 3.2kg (7lbs) cat, but bigger cats might find it too cramped.

This little box is excellent. Sturdy, good space for cats inside without taking a lot of space in the room.

Corner kitty litter box ReviewAdded the litter and moved it around for testing and I was surprised it didn't feel unsteady. The handle is decent quality and the box keeps its shape. No issues with flimsy lock, but its not hard to lock either. Unless someone is overloading it with litter then there shouldn't be an issue. The litter scoop can hang on the side, but I'll just have it as a backup. Good size for it, but I have a metal one that's slightly bigger that I'm accustomed to using and it still works fine. The door opens easy and fluid, and when no cat is inside then it hangs slightly on the inside so there is a gap where you see the kitty litter. I suppose this is to ensure the cat can see there is something on the other side. I thought this would cause issues with the smell escaping too much, but it doesn't seem to matter. It does well containing any scents. Unless I notice the sound of them scratching the litter, I don't even know when its being used. Given this is also my office space, this is very much welcomed improvement over the previous box with no door. So far any excess litter has been caught by the litter mat so I'm thrilled about that as well.We have a medium size cat and 2 small growing kittens that are a couple months old, all of them can get in and out no issues. If we had a large cat then I'd probably get the regular large/extra large square box instead of the corner box.If you have issues with cats getting used to it, then I suggest putting it next to the other box both with no lids on first to get them used to using it. Then add the lid to the corner box with no door, then remove the other box, then add the swing door. Just like people, some cats/animals adjust quickly and some are resistant to change so getting them used to it slowly until its in the state you want it in. No different than slowly introducing 2 cats or introducing a cat and dog to each other. You can just put them together or you can use introducing tactics to get things to go smoothly. I put the boxes next to each other with the door up on the new one. Then when I noticed they used the new one, I put the door down and then removed the other box later that day/next day.

The door falls off easily if you don't slide it over right. It goes in place nicely, but then may slide around and can fall off easily while the cat goes in and out if you do not slide it way over. The box itself is deep and nice. The scoop clips inside which is weird.

I love her dearly, little bundle of cat-dirt fountain madness. She would have put the excavation crew to shame if I'd let her dig up the water line instead of their backhoe. After vacuuming up more cat dirt around the box than she would leave in and going through more cat dirt in a week than most people go through in a month, I decided we needed an enclosed cat box. Since her box is kept in the kitty condo... I needed one that would fit into her MidWest Cat Cage. Hours into research, I settled on this corner unit. It is true to it's dimensions and fits into the cat cage perfectly. She is not a large cat so I am not sure how it would fit a large cat, but she has room to turn around in there and it keeps MOST of the dirt inside during her OCD power strokes. I took the door off to assist in her acclimating from an open to closed dirt box and will replace it soon. That will help even more.I was concerned about the bottom, with so many negative reviews for the lip on the other cat box but as you can see by my included photos, the bottom is smooth and curved and should prove to be easy to scoop. The included cat scoop was missing when it arrived... which does not bother me at all considering the reviews of the scoop deemed them useless and I still have the old scoop which functions perfectly well, I would possibly knock a star off for that but won't in the spirit of they did me a favor now I don't have to throw it away. The cat box came in a big box, nestled together (first pic) with some tape holding the two sides together. It is fairly thin plastic which seems like it would break very easily but is should not have a hard life in the corner of a kitty condo. There are three fold down latches on the sides and back which do hold the top on securely enough, though I wouldn't want to test them by picking it up by the handle with a full box of buried treasures. I just need it to hold the cat dirt in, and don't plan on toting it anywhere so I am not concerned with them much. The seam between the lid and the box do not overlap so if your kitty is not a deep squatter like mine, it is possible that they would be able to pee on the seam and it would probably leak out.It may be that 5 stars is generous, regarding the quality- but I feel that for the price, it is exactly as advertised (minus the useless scoop, which I actually prefer), exactly the size I needed, and best of all will keep most of the dirt out of my vacuum and where it belongs.
