We unscrewed the very top so it’s open but still has the high sides. It’s quite large, even for an average size cat, so there’s plenty of room to move around. We’re very annal about our cats cleanliness so we clean at least twice a day. This stainless is SO easy and, unlike plastic it actually gets clean!

I was really excited to get the metal pan. However, there are good things about this litter box and bad. I have had cats all of my life. I have 4 now. the litter box, in short, is, number one, not deep enough. Two, it is too long for most cabinets that are made for litter boxes. The top is heavy, but if the pan was deeper, the top would be shorter and not weigh so much. It just is a problem for older folks. The good is, the pan cleans really, really good. So do some adjustments, and you will have a Knock Dead Product!!! It also comes with some neat extras, a mat, a scoop and a kitty brush, which are nice.

Pee sticks a bit to the bottom but once you scrape it to scoop it out, it turns to dust instead of absorbing into the pan like with plastic boxes. We loved the first one so much we replaced our other box within days of receiving the first. We were on the fence with spending a ton of money on a robot litter box and could not justify the cost. Definitely can justify the cost of the stainless steel box. Well made and so much easier to clean. Also keeps the smell down. Cats immediately to to it.

Great product! Especially love the extras! Cat brush is great. Nice quality and my cat had no problem using it as he was using an uncovered box with no door.Nice size for my oversized cat. Like the little catch mat in front too.

This is awesome. Spacious, easy to clean, contains all the spray from my high pissers. Comes with a GREAT litter-collecting mat plus a scoop that hangs on the side. Only downside is the opening is just a bit small for 2 of my 20lb+ chonkers. The other normal size felines like it. No one ever sits on top. Great purchase, worth the $ (and I've owned a hundred litter boxes, always looking for THE perfect one). Cat owners, this one is a good one. Eighty seven stars.
