I ordered generic look a likes but the sizing wasn’t accurate so I submitted to these and their price but definitely worth the price! These wraps have increased my percentages up to 15% so far for me, got my wraps for life. Velcro doesn’t lose its integrity after a hard heavy plate bangin session. You need to pick these up if you are looking to increase 1RM or just want to increase your overall percentages.

Ex/OG powerlifter here who's back at the grind after building a home-gym during the pandemic. Though I've had elbow pain/tendonitis in the past, this one felt...different (damn near debilitating). Elbow throbbing after workouts, left side lockouts always lagging behind, high reps too painful, as well as attempting to lockout on heavier presses as I edged closer to the 400's. Finally visited the doc/Orthopedic Surgeon & here was the outcome: "Prominent heterotopic ossicle and enthesophyte affiliated within the margins of the distal triceps tendon with insertional tendinosis surrounding the heterotopic bone and the insertion on the olecranon process which features a small hypertrophic spur." AKA & in layman's terms? "A big ass spur..."Options: Stop bench pressing altogether (hell no), lift light ("also a no from me dog") or surgery (still up in the air). Problem with surgery, is the location of the spur requires detaching a portion of my triceps tendon to remove the "floating spur," as well as shave down the spur that's digging into the triceps (resulting in chronic tendonitis/tendinosis). I'd be out of commission for a good 6 months or so, then having to start over (though pain free & better than ever). In the interim though, I came across the Inzer XT Elbow Sleeves. Being an old school powerlifter, I started with Inzer; Iron Z wrist wraps (in the popular black/red stripes that everyone is copying), lever belts, singlets, even equipped/single-ply's, etc... Have been an Inzer fan for decades & have always been impressed w/ their effectiveness, quality, etc... (thank God my lever belt still fits, but clamp is screwed on the last set of holes). :) Anyway, gave the elbow wraps a shot (previously using STrong Elbow sleeves from Mark Bell, which are easily the tightest/durable neoprene & BEST sleeves I've ever used). For MY elbow pain however? Not good enough...After using the using the Inzer XT's (even on the FIRST DAY), my lockouts were a bit smoother/more balanced, heavier weight was damn near painless & I was able to squeeze out a few more reps towards the bottom of the pyramid. Even post-workout had me sold, considering THERE WAS NO THROBBING PAIN. No need for ice, no need for my routine of dangling my arm off the edge of the bed or couch, etc... 3 days later, I WAS ABLE TO BENCH AGAIN, painless. Fast forward to just under 2 months & the chronic/lingering tendonitis that I've been dealing with for years IS GONE. Am I just as strong as I was prior to the spur? Not yet, but taking baby steps here... Are my lockouts always 100% even during heavy reps? No, but they are definitely better... Am I still banging out 315 for 10? Not yet, but definitely getting closer..., BUT, I'm PAIN FREE, even with the spur AND consistently benching 2x a week + a day of heavy shoulders/military press (& surgery is even more up in the air as a result). If I want to start competing again at my age/raw, the spur definitely has to go, but for my garage gym workouts on a Thompson Fat Pad in my RML-490 w/ monolift attachments (+ safety straps), I'm f'ng ECSTATIC w/ the rehab/recovery & gains. One MAJOR difference to keep in mind about these straps is how customizable they are. With any other standard neoprene sleeve, you get what you get (some folks going sizes lower just to have more compression). With the Inzer XT's, I shift the wrap/position so that the center strap is just barely above my elbow, then I tighten it has much as it will go. Forearm strap at the bottom & bicep strap at the top are less important to me, but that center strap above my elbow is an absolute God-Send (not to mention how sturdy/firm the wrap itself feels in-general). If I could buy 100 pairs of these to ensure I'm stocked if they ever plan to close shop, I would, but in the interim, I'm glad that American Power Gear is selling these on Amazon & I'll most definitely be back for more... American Power Gear is not only a great supplier/reasonable pricing for a strap of this caliber, but also honest, great integrity & very quick to respond with any questions/concerns... Now Go Lift!

2 year update: I had to reduce the stars because a product that costs this much should last longer. As it stands, the velcro on the sleeves started giving out around the 18-19 month mark and now some of the straps pop open while the muscles flex to lift. Inzer only has a 6 month warranty so I'm SOL. So I guess I'd say it's a great product, while it lasts. However, at the price point, I expected at least 5 years of use. So it becomes a 3 star product (initial rating was 5 stars)Original: I've been lifting for over 2 decades, started when I was a teenager. I also have a very physical job. The two together sometimes result in aches and pains. One of these problems in my case is a recurring form of tendonitis commonly called Golfer's Elbow (or medial epicondylitis). When it flares up, it makes pressing movements such as overhead and bench very painful to the point that you have to drastically reduce the weight to be able to continue which means that the body part you're ACTUALLY working isn't really getting much of a workout because it's limited by the pain in your elbow/forearm.I saw a guy at the gym using these and asked them about them and he told me how great they are. After a couple months of hemming and hawing due to the price, I finally took the plunge.I shouldn't have waited, these things allow me to lift what I should be able to without being limited by the tendonitis in my arm. Since getting them, my bench and overhead have started to go back up again because I am able to once again use heavy weights and tax my muscles.I cannot give these sleeves enough praise. They're tough, well made, durable and effective and along with my (funny enough) Inzer Forever Belt, they are my two favorite pieces of gym gear. They have me excited about benching and pressing again.Highly, highly, HIGHLY recommended.

I read EVERY review before ordering, I wanted to get the size correct. Before ordering i purchased a body tape just to get the sizing correct. 3 inches up from the elbow with my arms relaxed i got 15". which equated to the Extra Large. when it came in I tried them on and if felt like i was wearing a Halloween costume that was way too big. I decided i would return it for a Large. The next morning I went to the gym and work on shoulders (not Arms), I decided to give the sleeves a test. You definitely can push more weight with the given support. What surprised me was the amount of natural swelling that occurred. The sleeves were no longer too big but became fitted during my workout. During some sets they even became tight and the 3 straps were never pulled. I used the sleeves in the default mode it came in.The seller did respond promptly the next morning but I decided to keep the XL and could not imagine how a Large could work. The material does not have much flex. The one down side is the material is itchy. That's not a deal breaker for me. If it becomes an issue i'll just wear a thin sleeve under it. My only wish was that the sleeves had an all black option but i guess you can't have everything.
