I bought a 102-year old home that has a full sized window right in the step in shower. I didn’t like the look or the lack of cleanliness from the previous owner’s wooden blind that they had on the window. So I substituted frosted glass and no blind, but then the wood frame was exposed directly to the shower water. This paint on “rubber“ worked perfectly. It is clear and very forgiving, and thick enough to cling well even when painting the top part of the wood window frame. It felt completely cured and dry in a little over 24 hours although the instructions say you might need to wait up to 72 hours depending on your humidity. It dries very shiny, but not in a way that bothered me.

This tub of sealant arrives in a easy to recycle cardboard box. I chose it because I've used Wadities products before and I know they make good quality stuff. A pattern of positivity that continued straight away when I saw our postie struggle with the box.This is no tiny tub of sealant that would struggle to cover a single paving slab. This is really is a large and heavy 5 Gallon (roughly 19 litres) drum. Which the makers claim can cover 280 square feet (25 square metres).While I can't confirm how much it covers, I can say it does exactly what it claims to do. The only downside is the application isn't a quick process, especially given the english weather. Mostly how it can only be applied on dry stuff when the temperatures is over 50f/10c.Plus each application has to fully dry before you can apply another layer. Because, as I learned the hard way if you don't let it dry, then the previous layer can lift when you apply another layer.How you apply it also makes a difference as well.With a brush you get a really good thick coating, but that takes longer to dry when compared to being rollered. You also need to be aware that, as the instructions state, this sealant doesn't like being painted over paint and other sealants. Though when applied to bare materials like brick or timber it works great.Plus it needs 2-3 layers to be fully effective. So in the traditional english garage workshop, you could be looking a week plus before something is waterproofed. But once it does it forms a nicely tough reliable layer on whatever you apply it to.A layer that has a slightly glossy feel, something that's akin to like having a plastic skin painted on.Overall? While this is undeniably expensive, with the correct application on the right surfaces it's also incredibly effective.

I have an annoying chimney leak that won't stop. I bought this product hoping that it will prevent the water seeping through the bricks cracks.first, I was very disappointed when I opened the container to only see it half full. I weighed the product before and after and subtracted the empty container from the full container without the lids on and it came up short by 2 ounces, not too happy, I knocked off two stars for that, check your product before using.The product goes on thin, spreads easily over brick, okay to use on vertical surfaces, fills cracks and crevices, dry's tacky but hardens over 48 hours. I'm waiting for our next torrential rain to put it through the test only time will tell.

So far, this product seems like a good purchase. The size is decent and should last for my entire project. I am using it for a craft project to seal my design so it is weather safe and can be used outside. This product allows my work to be water resistant and easier to clean. This product performs well, it is not too thick nor too thin, it does the job!

Haven’t put on all the coats (3) as required but it is sealed up my grout but do need the finals, it very clear but a little shiny I used a thin roller to apply (very thin) really if careful it compliments the tile looks a little shiny I used on the grout line.

This sealant worked perfectly for additional protection for my temporary shelter. I highly recommend it if you purchase a temporary shelter. My shelter began tearing about 6 months after purchase and setup. The company sent a replacement because it fell within the warranty period. I really wanted it to last longer. I didn't want to have to do this every 6 months. So I began looking for an less expensive alternative. This 5 gallon bucket will provide uv protection. It covers a 10 by 20 ft shelter with a little over a gallon of sealant. I intend to apply 2 more coats. The only drawback is the temperature needs to be 85° F or above to apply well. It was about 79° when I applied the first coat and globs up a bit. It still was workable enough to be smoothed over. Here's a photo of the shelter with the first coat. I'm very satisfied with the results.
