Bought these for a school book fair where we give out a small prize if the student rounds their money to the nearest dollar for a donation. The price is perfect! Scholastic sells “spy pens” with invisible ink and the light to read it for $3.99 a piece! These are them! This was a nice way for the kids to round up their change and get a spy pen at a fraction of the cost. Can’t recommend them enough if you need prizes or party favors. They come in a variety of colors and all the kids from kindergarten to 7th/8th grade love them!

I bought these UV pens for drawing in the dark onto glow-in-the-dark paper. I mainly use the light, not the invisible ink. One element that I like is that the light has a button instead of a switch, and you have to keep the button squeezed to keep the light on. I found that on other similar pens, kids were leaving the light on and wasting the battery.The product works well and holds up to a lot of use. I expected to get something cheap and fragile for the price but no, these are legit quality UV pens.

Based on prior reviews, I was worried that some of the pens would not work so I ordered extra but all 10 of mine had lights and ink that worked. Main annoyance is that it requires a lot of force to remove the cap from the pen. And if I put the cap on the back of the pen while I’m writing, and then try to remove it, the back of the pen gets removed too. But overall, the kids love it!
