Holy moly just the beep has helped my Aussie. I only got this to keep her from the fence with the giant pitty next door and his lazy owners who just watch them go at it. They want to eat each other. And when they are running back and forth biting through the fence she can hard to catch. She is very smart and learns easily but I can’t even grasp her attention here without putting myself between their teeth. I’m afraid my Aussie or my kiddo will get hurt eventually. Literally one time and she hears that beep and heads right for my feet no matter where I am. Awesome. Love the ease of use to put on and take off too with the new collar strap. Even though I totally snapped the hard plastic on my thumb. Ouch. Careful lol

First off lets be clear, Special Operations Units do NOT use these. But that being said they work nice. The different settings are great, I like the bungee color option for dogs needs, and they come with THE longest contact points I have seen on a collar, GREAT for long haired dogs like my GSDs. The only REAL complaint I have is I wish the collars came in 2 different colors so you can tell which belongs to which dog quickly and that the hole for the lanyard was on top not the bottom as it would be easier to use when around your neck, I just ordered mounts for the remote to do so (be nice if a remote holster was an option). The "flashlight" on the remote is pointless and I would rather see lights on the collars than a dim useless light on the remote. The tones are great and you have quite loud options and quite quiet options, which as I like as 1 dog is well trained with sound recalls and doesnt need the loud tones where the other is a baby and learning so the loud tones help. Overall for the price its great, and will work quite well as a training aid until the puppy is better versed and then I will switch to a Dogtra on her.

They work great very easy to pair to use.The first time if you have to use the shock function it will work if on your pet properly. Will say if you do use the shock your pet will forever know the cooler is on once you grab the remote.Just always use an alert before and after and they will associate what comes after the tone very fast!

I get there are varying opinions on training collars and I put off getting for a while because of this. However, I think it stems from people thinking this collar will skip actual training. It's important to make sure the dog understands what is being communicated and what it is supposed to do. However, when used in conjunction with some patience and other positive training, this training collar can be a true game changer! Now for my review...We have an almost 1 year old German Shepherd and we do not have a fenced yard. He's not aggressive at all and sees everyone as a new friend and loves to meet people, very social. He's typically well behaved for the most part - until it comes to chickens and cats, and he loses his mind and loves to chase them without listening or knowing where he is in relation to our property. I've been afraid he'll chase a cat and get lost. In addition, I've been afraid of him actually injuring an animal. We've chased him numerous times while he chased chickens (and he almost seemed to enjoy us chasing him while he chased chickens haha). We've had to retrieve him from the neighbor's house when he decided to chase a cat up a tree. Enter this collar. I made sure it had a good fit. I trained him with it with the beep and then vibrate for recall and coming back to me (with a reward of play). After a training session with the chickens, he will now watch and think twice about chasing them. It's been a huge win and has helped so much with stress levels as he now listens when it's important - even without the use of the collar. If/when the cats come back around, I think he will listen when we say "no" and the beep will deter him or at least make him think twice before chasing them.As far as the collar, it seems to hold a great charge, which was a concern. I was afraid I was going to have to charge it several times a week. However, I initially received and charged this remote/collar 8 days ago and it still is going strong after the first charge. It also has a great reach, so I can watch him from the house and activate the collar if he starts to chase something. I can also just beep the collar and hear where he is and he will usually come to the door either wanting to play or be let inside.I highly recommend this for dogs who just need a little correction when they are out of your reach and used with other training and positive reinforcements.

We got this to stop her bullying the cats (we have 5, long story) because weve tried positive reinforcement, but she’s had too many dopamine hits being able to chase the cats without any repercussions, so her behaviour towards them has recently become worse.Once we read the instruction manual twice and watched some training videos on this, we tested it on ourselves and then got it on her and gave it a test run. She responds to the sound warning really well, so 95% of the time that’s all she needs. If she’s excited, she will ignore the sound so we use the vibration and that also works well. I’ve only given her a “zap” a couple times when she’s ignored me (mid chase of cat, trying to snatch my 4yr old daughters cookie and jumping on her ) when her motivation was high, and it stopped her right in her tracks. I understand why, it’s like a rubber band snap. No pain just a very clear message and distraction from the intense focus. She is learning to settle down around the cats very well although I do wonder if she recognises that when it’s on she has to behave. And when it’s off it’s fair game (I have a lab she’s too smart sometimes)Make sure you read the instructions twice. You can hurt your dog otherwise or ruin the trust relationship. This is a training tool, not a quick fix.The range seems to be quite good and also we have a very bushy section, we found we could use the sound to find where she was if she ignored the “come” command.it’s exact what was missing which is consequences for ignoring commands, and also being able to communicate with her more effectively.I have yet to see how the battery holds out that seems to be the biggest issue peopleHave. I hope not to need it longer than a few weeksEdit: we stopped using it because she stopped responding to it most of the time. I reverted to basic recall training. I gave up on expecting her to respond but rewarded VERY heavily EVERY time she came to me when I asked. I also used a long leash around the cats. FAR more effective than this. Although I recommend trying it, and it works well, it isn’t a long term tool for us.
Great deal

This product is awesome, this is my first dog and I was hesitant on a shock collar because who wants to shock there dog a lot luckily this collar has the option to shock or vibrate, I keep my shock at level 5 and it goes up to 99 I mostly use vibrate and she listens because she knows she can get shocked, I have owned it 1 month haven’t had to charge it once it’s been on her in water numerous times. The price is fair for what you get and the qaulity can’t be beaten.

My dog has entered the most crucial period for training, she is a year old. She is a large breed dog , and I am a very small woman. I use this for off leash training, here in my own yard, in an area that used to be rural but is rapidly changing. I haven't had to use anything but the beep and vibrate mode, the beep just refocuses her attention to me, while she finds the vibration mode very annoying. Most of my training is done the old fashioned way. Consistency and hands on. The following is an example of when more was needed. My young nephew lives here and bought a small motorcycle, which of course my dog sized puppy loves to chase. We were outside playing fetch ( with the chuck it ball thrower I also highly recommend), when my nephew takes off on his motorcycle much to my surprise. She ran after him, but after 3 short bursts on vibrate, she was immediately back by my side ready to play ball again. Another problem I have had is her excitement when people walk in my house. For which I use the beep to get her attention first, then vibrate if that doesn't do the trick. An e-collar is not a magic pill, it wont do your job for you, but it certainly helps with off leash training, and refocusing my dogs attention back to me, her owner and trainer. The dog I train her to be in the next six months to a year is the dog I will have forever. I believe dogs need to run off some energy every day, especially my dog who is a Goldmaraner, well documented for their need to run everyday. Off leash they also learn to think for themselves , and satisfy their curiosity which makes for a more intelligent dog in the long run, in my opinion, I have had many dogs over the years. The battery life of the collar and the hand held remote has been great so far, still seems to be charged after a whole days use, I put it on the charger anyway, but have had no trouble with that. I also am very happy with the collar this unit comes with, and the device on it, it stays on the collar, no falling off or twisting like my last e collar, which I threw in the trash due to this problem, ( this was with my previous large breed dog) The basic design is quite solid, the collar threads through slots on the back of the device that vibrates, making it impossible to lose. The manufacturer sent me a charging block, when I wrote and told her I didn't have one, and a lanyard that really works great ,so I have my hands free, just for my trouble. I highly suggest you buy a lanyard, I nearly lost the remote before I put the lanyard on it, when it fell out of my pocket. (the way you attach the little loop is through the two holes on the corner of the remote ) Thank you Invirox! Great cost, and a great product! I waited months to review this because I wanted hands on experience first. Now I give it 5 stars!
