Absolutely love this exhaust. I had an exhaust leak right before the muffler and kind of liked the muffler delete sound for a while but didn’t like the raspy sound at higher rpm’s. Finally I bought this exhaust after looking up many reviews and I couldn’t be happier! The sound is smooth from idle all the way up to redline and produces the wonderful VQ sound without any raspy noise. There is a little drone if you’re giving it some gas at cruising speed in the low rpm range but the exhaust comes with silencers if you need to drive long enough that it might bother you. Otherwise I couldn’t be happier with the setup, the sound, and the price for what you’re getting. The hardest part of install is removing the old exhaust and the hangers since the bolts are in awful spots if you don’t have a lift, but once that’s removed, install is a breeze. Fit is relatively good, not perfect but it’s partly because the hangers are tight, you just gotta wiggle them where you want the exhaust to fit and then tighten down the bolts to keep it in place. YouTube videos don’t capture how great this exhaust sounds, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed at all. - 2008 HR owner. I’ll possibly post some photos and or a video if I ever get around to it.

Not loud when idling after it is warmed up. So the wife loves the fact its not overly obnoxious. It sounds amazing when you get on the car. It is not loud by anymeans unless you change other components in the exhaust system.

Sounds great, pretty loud and looks cool. Fits perfect and mostly sets up right. Mine came with all 8 bolts but 3 were the wrong size but no big deal. Take the sticker off the muffler because otherwise it stinks when it burns. Also the 06' enthusiast had a heat shield in place of the passenger exhaust hanger and had to remove that but otherwise great exhaust would recommend

Like I said you completely get what you pay for when it comes to performance parts. For half an exhaust system that is only mid pipe back its absolutely incredible. This exhaust is extremely easy to control as far as sound. Low growls but once you get up to about 4k rpm you'll get nice high pitch exotic tones with some pops and crackles even with stock tune. Beautiful welds as well. If you're unsure just do it. You wont regret it. Once you add a Y pipe, test pipes or high flow cats after this it will definitely put the car into the next level.(Buy some rust/bolt loosener and soak bolts before attempting to take off stock oem crusty bolts.) It'll make life way easier

Right side didn’t line up off the Y pipe...installer had to cut and re-weld for it to fit. Not cool.The frequency of bass it emits actually hurts my ears...regardless of rpm. Probably just me but something worth noting.I’m going to be swapping it for something else.

This exhaust sounds amazing. It has the deep growl that sounds amazing on 350z’s. It is decently loud but do not let it stop you from buying it, at low rpm it is not loud, and gets louder as you get higher in the rpms. If anything, I wish it was a little louder. But all in all sounds amazing and looks great too.

I love it! Would be 5 stars but it states this is a cat back exhaust which it is not, it is actually a y back exhaust. If you don't want to use the stock y pipe you will have to buy a x or you pipe. Other than that easy installation and sounds amazing.

First mod I've done. Installation was straight-forward, and took about 2.5 hours. Sounds AMAZING!!! Throaty towards low rpms, and decently (but controllably) loud at high rpms. When I was searching for different exhausts, I wanted one that was not too obnoxiously loud, and this exhaust is perfect because it is loud when you want it to be, but deep and quiet enough at cruising speeds. At highway speeds, there is a bit of a drone inside the car, but it is bearable and it happens when going around 80 mph, or around 3k rpm in 6th gear. Looks and sounds great; would definitely recommend.
