I give it 4 stars, coz hey nothings perfect, but it sure is the perfect exhaust for anyone that wants a mature exhaust like other reviewers are stating, at idle its sounds like stock, but a with a bit more bass, piping is big, which is a plus. But like another reviewer said, you do have to bend the hangers down a bit so it doesnt hit the floor of the car. if you havent bent the hanger or removed the heat shield or put an insulation type thing on the pipes, you'll get a knocking sound on the floor of the car, on the passenger side. But it only happens when you let off the clutch too aggressively or on cold starts, but once you get going you wont even notice it. But if you do bend the hangers a little bit on or just remove the heat shield. You wont get the knocking sound. My car is on stock motor mounts and stock header.Driving around and crusing, you'll hear it a little bit, like everyone stating it sounds a little bit louder than stock, but more bassy, no rasp. power wise, dont really feel anything, coz i am on a stock header, but there is an increase of 2mpg on the highways, so there could be a small gain.WOT you'll hear it, sounds like a proper tuner car, no farty exhaust sound,. with engine breaking, people will look at you coz of the bassy note, just enough sound to let people know that your by their side,so that they wont change lanesOverall great exhaust, will buy again, once i buy another rsx.

Love how quiet the exhaust is. If your looking to be loud this is not the exhaust for you. Everything bolted on directly not fitment issues. Love the way it looks great product!

To start off, amazing. Simply amazing. Great material. I bought it Friday and it came Monday at 7 when I was just getting home from work. So don't pay for fast shipping. The exhaust, I gave it 3 stars due to the fact that invidia is yet to fix those rattling issues. Like everyone else says it's in the midpipe and the muffler. For the muffler just bend the hangers upwards and you should be good, now for the midpipe I have to take it an exhaust shop. I will say the the sound is amazing and it's just a bit louder than stock. The gains on it I'm not sure because when I installed it I had an exhaust leak that I wasn't aware off on the headers. I fixed that after the fact that I got an injen cold air intake. After fixing the exhaust leak I notice a tremendous difference, it rides so smooth and feels faster that before, I can hear the vtech clearly and again after 7Krpm it really screams. But once again I'm not sure if the gains are from the catback or the intake. But the combination and the gains are totally well worth it and I would buy this exhaust again but be prepared to have those two main issues fixed right on the spot so it doesn't take you a full 2 months to fix it like me if you're busy all the time.

Not sure what picture you'll see, but it is a single tip for the RSX type S. The pipe is awesome and has a deep low tone. Without a race header, the level of sound is just fine with no drone. I added a header and it's still ok, but over 4k and it has a semi annoying drone--only a problem if you drive for a long time over 65mph. Still easy to drown out with your radio. If you try and hook this up to the stock header, you'll need the longer bolts as the pipe's flange is too thick for the stock bolts. You need to knock the stock bolts out on the stock header. I also bent the hangers a bit so it wouldn't rub on the floor board, and then up in the back so the pipe is tucked just right.

I wanted a more mature exhaust tone for my RSX. My last setup sounded like a driveby trumpet powered by an air compressor. I put this on with DC race header, and my car sounds amazing. I was worried it would be too quiet, but with the race header its perfect for a daily driver.This arrived in 9 days, install was cake. Ive heard a lot of reviews saying the muffler bracket touches and rattles. They must have fixed this placement, because mine did not rub or rattle at all.As far as install, just hand tighten the bolt/ nuts before clamping down. Use wd40 on the rubber bushings to get metal hangers to slip in/out. If your old exhaust hardware is rusted, hit it with a metal brush, hammer, and pb blaster in that order, let it soak. Comes with all necessary bolts nuts and gaskets.
