I use the Intrepid International Cotton Pillow Wrap as a Cubital Tunnel Syndrome elbow brace for sleeping. I wrap it around my arm and secure it with an Ace bandage. It is much more comfortable than the standard braces with metal plates and more manageable than wrapping the arm with a towel to prevent numbness and pain at night.

These were thick and awkward to use with standing wraps. I ended up cutting one so I didn’t have to wrap it around my horse’s leg five times. Maybe good for someone else but not for me.

Pillow wraps were recommended to me by my vet. My horse is currently on long-term stall rest, and changing his bandages exactly every twelve hours is a big challenge. So he suggested l use pillow wraps as they are gentler on the legs and virtually impossible to wrap too tightly. This makes them much safer than regular, thinner wraps. They are harder to put on at first, but well worth the effort.I now have peace of mind when the bandages have to stay on for longer than twelve hours.

Have a horse finishing 6 months of stall rest. I prefer the no bow bandage personally but these have been in heavy rotation none the less and have held up really well.

These are basically the wraps I was looking for for standing bandages. With a few washings they will be perfect. We used bandages at the track just like these. I read on another review about not being able to get a tight wrap but frankly these are the kind of standing bandages you want. You can wrap them tight enough and provide uniform support without being tight to the leg which is exactly what you don't want to do. I find the quilted thinner type of wraps unsatisfactory for this exact reason. I also don't use polo bandages for this application but the larger standing bandages. It's just how we did up the race horses everyday to stand in. They are a bit pricey but should last. Many Years ago we use to make them from cloth baby diapers and rolled cotton sewing them just how these are made but you can't find cloth baby diapers without a double inset padded area in the middle which makes the useless for wraps. There is so many types of bandages, made of different materials out there. I was very glad to find these tried and true old school wraps still available.
