Bought an 18x9 index pool. It definitely works when it’s 25 plus out full sun on pool. Truth is tho, two days of 20 degrees or less it’s useless for the most part as the ambient humidity/ temp takes over on the side wells of your pool but it’s a solid quality as long as you grab and lay peacefully

el calibre del plastico es delgado, que no permite manejarlo, pero una vez puesto cumple con su función

I bought this for a Coleman 10x16 oval pool. I would say it fits ok. There are a few feet hanging off either end and it is about 6 inches too narrow. That being said, it works well to warm the water when the sun is out and does a decent job of retaining warmth overnight. If the pump isn't running, the top foot of water gets too hot to touch. As a nice side bar, it's not heavy and rolls up easily enough for me to manage it daily. It seems very durable, the bubbles are all in tact, and it looks nice.

This was our 2nd (and will be our last) of these covers. The first one lasted 2 seasons, before eventually breaking down. Felt bad putting it in the trash but decided to take better care of the 2nd one (take off when adding chlorine, store completely dry and out of the weather during off season). And yet, this last one - as others have noted - is much cheaper than the older one, and turned into a filter-clogging mess in just a few months of use! Terrible plastic. Won't buy another. We are trying a cover by a company called Solar Pool Supply, which we had to cut to size but that was easy enough and so far, it's clearly much higher quality plastic and cost $200, but I'd be surprised if we don't get several seasons out of it. Will report back.

Wanted to use on a blowup inflatable pool. I thought it would warm up the pool a bit faster than a half hours but I’ve only had it on there a couple times. I also wanted it to keep the debris out of the pool when not in use so I figured any solar he would be a plus. My backyard super windy so I’ve just been using bricks to keep it from flying up

I was so impressed with this cover! After reading mixed reviews such as “this might a well be oversized bubble wrap” or “garbage bags work better than this thing”, I was pretty skeptical but didn't want to spent a ton of money. When I filled the pool it was around 55°, we live in Wisconsin. The next sunny day that came along, I came home to the pool at 75°!!!!! The air temp didn’t even get that warm but this thing really works. Worth every penny and more, the kids are going to have a great summer without freezing to death. For reference, our pool is about 9x7 and 29” deeph. The cover is bigger than the pool but who cares. Go buy it if you struggle to keep your pool warm in the summer!

I just received this on Wednesday 05/03/23. I Installed it with my iopool tester. I can’t testify to the durability of it, but if I get one season out of it then the $40 is well worth it . I check the temp about a100 times a day( I can’t help it) I am so impressed with the simplicity yet effectiveness of the cover. In three days with day temps in mid 60s- low 70s the cover has raised the temp8-9 degrees. This is with ambient temperatures dropping into the 40s and 50s at night. The cover helps retain the heat ant night. With the 20 or so temp drop at night the pool only loses 2-3 degrees. I live in KY, my pool isn’t even facing south to maximize sun exposure. For reference I have an above ground intex 8’x16”x42”. I believe it holds about 2870 gallons of water. This cover is well worth the money!!!!!!! Check out my temp charts from my iopool app.////// Update as of 09/05/23 the cover is officially toast. We got 4 solid months out of it. Given the price = $10 a month I would say it’s well worth it. Not only did it hear my pool I think I had it up to 96 degrees but it also help’s cut down on the amount of chemicals I have to add. Will buy another this winter so I have it ready for spring.

For the price, this is an awesome cover. I use it to cover my swim spa and I am able to turn off the spa heater because it really heats up the spa well; maybe too well with this 97F weather.Pros:Easy to remove for one person. Spa cover is crazy heavy for swim spas.Stays on well even with some wind because it has some suction with the water.Cheap!Keeps spa heated with sun so it saves on electricity (I turned off spa heater) since I like to take a dip at night but even if it's hot during the day, the temps can drop quickly after sunset.Keeps debris outCons:The material can tear easily and will last probably one year or a season. For the price, it's a small con. I will update this review in the future regarding durability. No way to install a reel for a spa, I think I can make my own. Small con

just your usual solar cover, it's essentially just a large sheet of heavy duty bubble wrap, but that's what it's supposed to be, and it works just as it's supposed to. It lets the heat in and traps it from getting out, heating up the water. It's very easy to put on, I actually cut a small hole on the end of it and attached a rope to it so it makes it even easier to put on when I'm doing it by myself. But it just floats on top of the water, so it's easy to get on and off.I had the cover on for about 2 days and it warmed my newly set up pool from freezing to just a little bit off from perfect in just that 2 days. Left it on for another 2 days the water was a nice luke warm, and was great. But something to keep in mind is that this cover heats, I'd say about a foot into the water, and the rest is the same cold temp it was before. When you first get In after taking the cover off it'll be warm in some spots then ice cold in others, but once you mix it around a bit it becomes a very nice water temp. The only down fall I guess I'd say this has is it's horrible at keeping the bugs and dirt out, which i expected. With all the cotton wood trees here in New Mexico blowing around my pool has been filled with cotton this past week, and the cover doesn't prevent this at all. This isn't meant to be a full on cover, so just expect to run your skimmer a bit after taking it off.I think I'm going to leave it on for the next 2 days or so and then leave it off until the water starts to get cold again then put it on, but so far it was great, at least now I'm not freezing when I get in the pool even in 85 degree weather.
