We had an 18x52 steel frame intex that mice got to the liner over the winter and there were several holes in it. We decided to just get a smaller, easier one for this season/year and couldn't be happier with it. Perfect size to cool off in on the hot days. Very easy to care for; simple with minimal chemicals needed, fool proof! The pump is smaller than were used to but super simple. Set up was really easy as well! Only annoying part is just making sure the tip ring is blown up, we did almost have a problem when it deflated a bit too much as we hadn't used it for over a week and hadn't checked it. But not a huge deal. Great value for the money spent! Perfect for the kids and their friends too!

Had high hopes for this, but it is not easy to set up. Very hard to get the wrinkles out of the liner, ended up on level ground with lopsided pool because we couldn’t get all of the wrinkles out. I even got in with about an inch of water to smooth out and still couldn’t get them out. Hopefully we can still use and have fun.

Came with pool, pump and hoses, filter, pool cover in box and tarp to put under pool. So easy to set up. Just lay out tarp, them pool and air up top. Hook up pump lines and fill with water. Our spot wasnt level and the pool is trying to lean but still works great. Definitely suggest setting on a pad or leveled sand bed. Would definitely buy again.

I am not sure if this review is for the seller, Intex or Amazon but I absolutely hate this pool.I wanted something quick & easy because I am in the process of getting divorced & will not be living here much longer & my husband has always said no pool so I wanted to get it set up while he was out of town for 3 days & failed miserably.I made the mistake of thinking my yard was level when it is actually slightly sloping, however I also made the mistake of thinking the ground being unlevel was the reason it was not working. I was wrong about both & wrong about believing this would be easy.I was also wrong when I thought I was purchasing a new product. This arrived with the ground cover which is a thin, cheap tarp, with holes in it, bird poop on it & reeking of mold. Which I am highly sensitive & allergic to mold so literally got ill each day I was working with this stupid thing. For 3 days I partially filled, drained, refilled & moved this pool to various spots in my yard that should have been level enough based on my research. The spots were not perfect & weren’t a long term set up but I just needed something for 2 months & they should have worked. But everything about it was a struggle. Water all going to one corner which I thought was because of it being unlevel, getting the wrinkles out, getting the walls to rise & not get sucked under the water. I felt like such an idiot wasting hours & hours while my neighbors floated around in their real pool watching me. Hopefully they took pity on me when I slipped & fell (fully clothed) & started crying.I ended up having to go out of town for a week so I initiated a return because I was already irritated over being given a used item at this price point when I was expecting new. I folded it up & placed it in my garage & decided to deal with the return, which I knew was also going to be such a hassle, when I got back. While on vacation all my kids did was swim so I had a change of heart. Plus I didn’t feel like trying to pack everything back up & get it to the UPS store. So I tried again & again & again. No luck. Finally I moved it to a 100% level spot on my driveway. Literally in front of my garage that we can now no longer get our cars into. I was able to get a little more water in it this time but still struggling with the walls & water pooling at one side?? Just when I was about to admit defeat again, I refilled the ring with air because it had deflated for the 10th time. It was 11p so pretty quiet & I could hear a whistling sound. Finally I realized that the ring had holes in it. Two of them (or so I thought)! On something I thought would be brand new! I patched the holes & the next day added more air & the pool finally started filling right.I have well water so I slowly filled it over the course of 3 days. & even though the walls were finally going up, they were getting caught under water, new wrinkles kept appearing & I just could not get it perfect. But my kids were so excited that I didn’t have the heart (& too much pride with my neighbors watching) to take it down again. & as the water rose, I noticed all the leaks. 3 that I’ve seen so far. Didn’t have the proper patched to fix them (which I shouldn’t have to on a new purchase ) so I fixed them the best I could & am waiting for a kit to arrive. Oh & the ring is still deflating. The whole process has been such a joke. I now have an ugly & quite frankly pathetic looking pool sitting in my DRIVEWAY with holes in the ring & the pool itself. So I urge you to take all this into consideration when purchasing. At least from this seller. My kids absolutely love it though. & it got them off of electronics & they were swimming in it (& stepped on a rock underneath the liner, yay!) until 10:30p tonight. So 1 star for that. I’m sure they’ll love it even more when it collapses next week & they float right into our garage.

Super easy to install, setup and inflate. Great value for the price. Only caveat is the foundation under the pool must be packed down/firm and level. We thought we could set this on our lawn, but even that was too soft and it started collapsing at about half way full. Ended up putting it on our concrete driveway. It works great now. Given the mobility of the side walls, it gives the feeling of a current like being in the ocean, which we love - though I could see how some folks wouldn't like that. If this lasts just one season, I'd be happy. We would buy it again.

I bought this pool so my almost-12-year-old would have a fun summer diversion. I really didn’t want the expense or permanence of a big pool. I kind of wish I would have gotten the 15X48 instead of the 15x42, and I may upgrade to that next year. but this suited our needs, and she’s been in it almost every day since it went up. It’s sturdier than I imagined it would be, and we don’t get any water spilling over the edge. I’ve been in it once, and it does make me a little nauseated—I think maybe because the whole thing jiggles like a big thing of jello (lol) and is more wobbly than a regular pool. The pump is astonishingly quiet. I run it 24/7 to compensate for the fact that it does seem underpowered for the pool. But it’s been up for about 3 weeks, and my chemicals are all still in balance. My ground wasn’t 100% level. I had a 1-2 inch slope and was super anxious about that as it was filling up, but it wound up being fine when full. But any more of a slope than that, and I’d suggest leveling it.
