Will do the job for most light duty storage. Don’t expect to put anything heavy on them. One shelf was bent and I was able to straighten with a rubber mallet before assembling. If I need more shelving will most likely buy something more heavy duty

Great storage shelf. Easy to install, just wish the legs were marked every so often so you didn't have to count each increment. Feels sturdy and it looks nice.

we just need to bring order to tv room and have games puzzles cards video games books crafts a bit more organized. normal living room furniture was such a commitment and so expensive and heavy and inflexible - so i am a huge fan of metro shelving for its urban look and non-committal ease of use - I am old and decrepit and i was able to assemble the shelves by myself and presume i could just as easily take them down in the event i need to move. they are light weight and sturdy one thing i kind of don't like is the ridges from the bars on the shelves and when i take things on and off the shelves it kind of drags and bumps along the ridges - but small issue relative to how easy these are to use.

I ordered 2 shelves and one was lost during shipping. When I reached out to the company they responded immediately and got another shelf sent out promptly. Also, the shelves are nice and sturdy, and I found them easy to assemble. I would not hesitate to order from this company again.

Have six of these now, four four shelf and two five shelf. The most difficult part is trying to decide the spacing. Unlike the pictures I place the top shelf down some what and made the storage on top more secure.That way I have five very usable shelving. Solid construction, if the shelving does not sit properly, you have the plastic locking sleeves wrong !

I was worried at first with my order because several other reviewers in the past commented on the packing and possible damage during shipping. When my box arrived, it sounded like a bunch of smashed china inside. I WAS WRONG. Opening the shipping box, I found the rattling sounds were the packaged assembly hardware sliding around. The shelves themselves held the unassembled structure together effectively, and the posts, though also sliding around were adequately protected. There was nothing wrong with any item in the delivery.Assembly took about 2 minutes to figure out. NO TOOLS NECESSARY, except maybe a box cutter to open the shipping container. One person can assemble. I took me time (about 30 minutes, and everything went perfectly. The shelf supports and how they affix to the posts are deceivingly simple, yet surprisingly effective.I also like that the shelves are easily adjustable and their fit is solid.I bought two more the next day. (P.S. Both of them went perfectly just like the first.)

I ordered two of these, which arrived the same day. The boxes were in good shape and it looked like, for the most part, they were securely packed. The instructions were very sketchy but understandable, and the racks were easy to assemble. The first one went up rapidly. The second one, however, has a bit of damage (two shelves had just a small amount of damage -- one slightly bent at the edge, and another had one bit in the middle that was slightly bent). This didn't impact the assembly; the more significant problem was the one of the four upper poles was significantly out of line. Once it was screwed into the bottom half of the pole, it went off line by quite a bit. Even with the top shelf forcing it back in line, it's off by about 3". I maneuvered the unit to hide that, for the most part, and it's in a basement storage room, so I'm OK with it. I think the shelves are sturdy enough for the kinds of things I store in the basement (cans of paint, boxes of tools), nothing very heavy.

Quick assembly. Just need a rubber mallet or big lump of wood to tighten up all the shelves once positioned.Very useful for clearing up clutter, putting heavy stuff on it without issues. Overall clever design.

Shelf was easy to put together and is sturdy - love it and fits exactly where I bought it for - most shelves are not 18" deep, this one is, which makes it much more useful

Product arrived a day early, and I was pleased by that. Two of the 5 boxes were beat up a bit, but still protected. The first box was a surprise by the fact the unit was well packed, non of the 5 had any shipping damage, and I was particularly impressed by the quality of the items. This is not some lightweight "internet special" that by the time you get the box open, inspect the goods, you suddenly KNOW you've been screwed. No sir, this is a quality built unit. Just before I clicked on "purchase", I made a change and ordered the matt black, rather than chrome, because I felt the chrome would begin rusting sooner, and I'm very glad I made the change.It feels really good, when all of the parts work as advertised, fitting snugly, the "feet" pads adjust smoothly, and once I figured out the best system, I put them together in about 3 hours. NO missing parts, another bonus. The only thing that could've made this any better, would be, Made in America... Alas it wasn't, but still a good buy!
