I purchased small dc breakers, and they came with this cheap aluminum din rail, that bends with very little force. So i purchased these, and couldn't be happier. It's night and day compared to cheap aluminum versions.

They do pretty much exactly what you would expect from Din rails I painted mine black and used them for a 3d printers electronic enclosure. Lots of different uses for them and you get a good amount for the price.

So yeah, they're just short chunks of din rail a little more convenient to store than long sticks. The three and five foot long sticks that I have previously gone. These are much handier size and they're lightweight enough to cut with tin snips. Assuming you're strong enough to do it, I chose to use a grinder and then I smoothed the edges since it did leave a burr might be a little lighter weight than what I'm used to, but they still work well. They hold the connectors and everything else didn't have any trouble with that

I printed vertical rail mounts for all my single board computers, and was able to fit all of them on a single 12" rail WITH a power distributor and an LCD for setup/debugging. Cleaned up my desk real nice!
