Easy to setup and use. Used it for my pool pump and it worked great. It is not heavy duty so I wouldn’t be roughy with it, but it is a great value

Original y completamente nuevo. Excelente precio, lo ocupo para automatizar el horario de una bomba de 1hp para el filtrado de una alberca y la verdad super bueno. recomendado!

This works like a charm. Three prong dual timer. I use it to run pool pump for 6 hours from 10pm - 4am, and 10am to 4pm. Only issue I see is that the bottom where the plug goes in, does not fit my pumps GFCI as it sticks up about 1/8". Works fine for extension cord though. Also has mounting hole so I was able to mount to deck out of sight.

I had a fancy outdoor timer with LCD display go bad after only two seasons of use. Being a bit frustrated by that, I went looking for a timer that did not require me to put on glasses to adjust nor require me to read a long manual to use. So, when this item came up, I ordered it. Here is what I found: 1. This is a VERY simple mechanical timer!!! Simple does not infer poor quality or lack of features! It simply means that this has a rotating dial with day and night hours marked on it. You set the time currently by rotating the dial to a pointer. That being done, you insert a colored peg for when you want the time to come on, Then, you insert a differnt colored peg for when you want the device to turn off. They provide you with two sets so you can have two different times that the unit turns on and off during a 24 hour period. 2. As for mounting, there is a mounting hole on the back of the unit. Very simple. 3. There is one outlet on the bottom of the timer for what you want to control. That could be a waterfall pump, a set of Christmas lights, or anything else up to the 15Amp rating. 4. There is a VERY short cord to plug this unit into an outdoor outlet. This is where I take one star away! I feel that the cord is MUCH too short. It requires you to mount this unit directly above your outdoor outlet and many times that is just not practical. The cord needs to be twice the current length to allow you to offset the mounting of this device. This is a very simple device that seems to work well. It is easy to use, easy to program, easy to explain to someone how to use it. The only problem that I have with it is the very short power cord. It required me to use an extension cord to install. That is crazy since just 15 inches more cord would have made it perfect. As long as the short power cord is not an issue for you, I would recommend this device.

I purchased this timer when I realized our pool pump was driving our electric bill up due to me being too lazy to remember to turn it off. It ended up running 24/7. We needed something that could be outside all the time as the pump plug is a fair distance from the house. It has been running fine for 3 years now with absolutely no issues.Setup is pretty basic. Once you plug the timer it it just keeps turning all day. The ring has teeth all along it where you place the pins. Once you set the ring to the correct time you place the pins at the corresponding time you want the attached device to turn on or off. In the upper left corner is a small rotating switch. When the pins you place come around, they catch on the switch and flip it's state. This allows you to flip it on or off whenever you need. For instance when I need to backwash our pool filter I just turn the switch one click and it turns off. When you're done you can just turn it another click and it will continue on it's merry way.Durability is something to be concerned about when something is out in the weather all day long. As I said, ours has stood up to it for 3 years with no appreciable change. The color hasn't faded as far as I can tell and the plastic has not become brittle. There is no waterproofing on the bottom where the plug goes in but because it's on the bottom you don't get rain flowing to it. The cord is a sturdy thick one that probably has 12 gauge wire in it. For mounting you have a standard slot for a screw head in the back. The only thing I would say to be aware of is the length of the cord. It is at most a foot long. The shouldn't normally be a problem because you will probably be placing this between and existing cord and plug so it will be mounted right next to the receptacle. If you want it somewhere else, plan to get an extension cord.I haven't had many timers, but I can't imagine anything to be any easier to use or longer lasting. I would definitely recommend this one.

I've been using this type of timer for my two outdoor pond pumps (for waterfalls) for years. They turn the pump on in the morning and off in the evening.About five years ago, one finally failed and I quickly got a replacement at the local hardware store. Then a few days ago, the other timer failed. Off to the store, but I was told that the company that made them was out of business.I then went to Home Depot and Lowes, and neither had these timers, just complex digital timers that are a pain to program. Many were not for outdoors. This was discouraging, then a light went on. I went to Amazon, and sure enough they had them, albeit more expensive than the old ones. However, these are so easy to use and so reliable, I got two so I'd have a spare. You just turn the wheel to the current time, insert a green pin for the time to start and a red one for shutting off. They come with two sets of pins, but you can get more if you want multiple start-and stop cycles. There is a round pin to turn to start or stop manually. These are slightly larger than the old ones, but exactly the same design. I recommend them highly for simple programming and reliability. They arrived just a few days after ordering. Good old Amazon!
