Overall, the product works decently well. So far I have been using this item for linocut prints and etching prints. The height adjusts enough as long as you’re not using mounted linoleum. You also need to use something hard and flat to set your project on as this doesn’t come with a bed like an actual printing press would. The reason I deducted the 2 stars is for the overall quality control, or rather, lack there of. The paint coating is poorly done in some places and the handle is full of scrapes and scratches that cut up my hand a bit as I crank the press. (It came this way) I tried to find contact information for the company to see if I could be sent a new handle but Amazon was unable to provide me with an email or a phone number. While these factors are disappointing and very annoying, the product has so far been working for the job I intended to use it for despite these issues.

I use this as an inexpensive alternative to an etching press for linocut printing, and it works great.

I’m really happy with this press. I bought it to laminate stickers for my business and it works really well for that. It’s easy to use and feels well constructed. It was packaged encased in styrofoam, so no worries about damage in transit. Looking at other reviews I’m very excited to test this out as a printing press for relief prints too! I gave up printmaking after college because printing presses are very expensive, and alternative methods didn’t work out for me. This little press is a great investment for the cost, I highly recommend it.

Was dreading buying a large scale laminator but thankfully I found this 14". Most of my projects are around 12" or less. I use this for stickers, vinyl transfers and art prints. I was tired of wasting materials trying to seal my artwork by hand and this is much better.

I'm a linocut printmaker and bought this for running prints at home.Pros: What a bargain compared to a real printing press. Small and compact. I feel like this was worth the money and it will last forever. My very first run of test prints came out so well that I was able to sell the artist proofs! Worth the money for the amount of ink and paper I'll save by having fewer bad prints!Cons: I feel like the "stopper"(?) on the height adjustment doesn't always stay in place, but I'm still getting used to it. I have to tie the "bed"(?) while storing it to keep them folded up. Assembly was a little awkward and it was missing a screw.Other: You'll have to make your own bed to roll through, and make sure you have some felt blankets and newsprint to protect the rollers. Happy Printmaking!

I am using this product as a printing press to make small intaglio prints. I found the handle to be too small for my purposes. I had to replace it with a drill press three point wheel.

Maybe not designed to be used for making relief prints (think linoleum and woodblock), but this laminating machine works perfect for this purpose. An inexpensive alternative for those printers looking for a cheap printing press.
