Genuine copper wire. The jacket is good and flexible and has a nice look without being too susceptible to physical damage like a true silicone cable would be. Good product.

Lotsa cable, good price for OFC. Lays nicely too. Soft and doesn't retain it's shape from the spool. Will buy again if ever I manage to burn through 100' of it!

Lo esperaba para el martes y lo retrasaron hasta el sábado y eso "a ver". Tuve que ir al centro de la CDMX y sin querer encontré uno de similares características pero calibre 12 y más barato que éste. Francamente detesto la falta de formalidad.

Looks like its actually all pure copper and not copper clad aluminum. Just watch what your buying because the same company makes this same wire in CCA aswell. The jacket is soft and easy to work with, strips easy aswell.

Most important thing to know is that this wire meets the AWG rating it claims of 14 gauge wire. It's super flexible with a nice jacket. OFC is a must if you care about your speaker wire. This is good for even some of the most demanding applications. It strips easily as well. Love the fact that it's got so many strands of such a fine gauge wire, makes it really flexible and makes it feel just that much higher quality than even the same gauge with a lower-count but thicker strand. The black and red are great for deciphering the positive and negative easily. I hate when some speaker wire has impossible to read stamped lettering every 2 feet on one side with no other unique characteristics. This stuff makes it easy to maintain the proper polarity on your speakers, keeping them in phase, and sounding great. Should give this wire to Best Buy and maybe they'd wire at least one pair of their speakers in their demo room in phase for once. Anyway, love it, great wire for just about any use. Good gauge for most applications and OFC is a must. I can't think of a situation this wouldn't work great in, as far as speaker wire goes.

It's becoming increasingly hard to find OFC wire at an affordable price. I'll pay what's necessary, in order to avoid all the CCA crap currently being sold. This wire worked out to be 60 cents/ft, which is the most reasonable price I could find for OFC 14 ga.I made three cables with this - two 12' lengths for my main speaker pair, and one 6' length for the center. That provided plenty of slack for post installation fiddling with the connected components. I also fitted them with banana plugs . . . I hate nothing more than dealing with bare wire connections.The insulation jacket is soft and flexible, but I did have to hang them for a day in my super-warm garage to straighten out the kinks. The black/red colors work with the corresponding colors of my speaker terminals and the markings on the banana plug barrels, eliminating the potential for cross-wiring.I'd buy this wire again in a heartbeat!

We purchased this wire to hook up our speakers to our amp for use with a turn table. The quality is very good and we liked the fact that it was oxygen free which we hope will protect the copper wire from oxidizing over time. We purchased the 14 guage as the hole in our amp to insert the wire was on the small side (vintage amp) and it was a good fit. The sound quality is extremely good. Would purchase again.

has the thickness and therefore the stands to be a decent copper wire (OFC) 14AWG wiring. when i split it open to attach the banana plugs one can see that copper wiring inside - does match the description of approx 165 strands. Using it for the surround L/R and its got decent output for the speaker impedance and the receiver (tested on Netflix and Amazon content for a 5.1.2 set up).
