most of these connectors did not work, as others have said, several connectors got stuck and i could not remove without force. i may have ruined a connector on an amplifier, DO NOT BUY, DO NOT USE you may damage your equipment.

Lesson learned. The other reviews that talk about incompatability… I didn’t pay attention. I thought I’d be lucky. Here are the details:When you mate one of these NL2 connectors with a (genuine Neutrik Speakon) NL4 receptacle it fits fine (The physical fit was snug. I did not test the electrical connection/fit.), until you try to disconnect. The thumbslide works, and it wants to rotate counterclockwise for you. However, something misshapen inside this connector can’t get past a conductor on the inside of the socket. The only way to disconnect the two are to force the plug to rotate enough for the keyway to line up so the plug can be retracted. In doing so, it will deform the metal connector inside the receptacle - specifically the pin for the 2- (2 minus) connection. That will mean the receptacle can’t be repaired and must be replaced.Would these work exclusively with NL2 sockets? I’m sorry, I don’t have that info for you. But this happened enough for me that statistically it looks like they all show this behavior. Unfortunately, I found out after I’d spent the time connecting them on cables. So, I’ve lost time (labor), lost more time (waiting for replacements to arrive), and lost parts, as I now have to order and replace sockets in a few places.Also, genuine Neutrik plugs come with two strain relief parts - one for smaller-gauge cable, one for larger-gauge cable. These arrive with only one. I can’t see anything in the description to tell you whether it’d work for whatever size cable the customer has.The 4 stars for ease of use is for the phillips screws which clamp on the wires.Durability got 3 because I didn’t have them long enough to test that, but the inner & outer housings look solid enough. It took quite a bit of force to disconnect them from their sockets.I DO NOT recommend these for professional use.

Very nice and well-built Speakon plug in a very good bulk price package! These are two conducted plugs.

Buyer beware these are 2 pin but will NOT!! fit in a 2 pole socket. The reason for this is a 4 pin cannot fit into a 2 pole not only because of the pins but because of the internal housing is different. This is a 4 pin housing that just happens to have only 2 pins installed. If you need a 2 pin to fit a two pole then look for a crecent shape cutout in the center of the housing. These do work well in a 4 pole housing so any reviews saying these dont work is false. However the product description is misleading and should be more clear.
