We were surprised how well this fits! Our original cover needed replacement from been sliced up somehow and this is very, very similar to it. This is easy to put into place and has been performing as expected. We don't notice as much liquids splashing back out of the disposal when turned on and it seems as quiet as usual. We are pleased with it so far!

Great price compared to Lowe’s or Home Depot for this brand, and it is so much quieter! It sounded like a completely different garbage disposal. Didn’t realize how loud it was before. And it fit perfectly!

We have an Insinkerator garbage disposal and the splash guard was starting to break apart. This replacement item took 20 seconds to put in, fits perfectly and looks so much better. Love this item!!

I didn’t realize how hard my old one had gotten until it tore. This is soft and pliable and really keeps the noise down. Much easier to get food down the drain with this one.

I recommend this product but it was thinner rubber then my original one which last 7 years.

Glad I bought the OEM InSinkErator brand. The quality and fit on this is immediately noticeable. The last one I tried was an aftermarket off-brand and it didn't fit properly or last long. Super easy to pop in and out for quick cleaning. Excellent product, hats off to the manufacturer!

It’s truly amazing that there are any severely negative reviews of this item. It fits perfectly in my Evolution series OEM drain collar, water flows through it unimpeded at maximum faucet flow and it seals 100% when the original drain stopper is inserted. It’s new, so no confirmation of the anti-microbial properties as yet.True, it is less “robust” than the original, but that is likely by design (remember all the complaints about how hard it was to push waste through the previous version!) The quality of the rubber and manufacturing are top rate. I have no doubt that this is an authentic factory replacement.Just one thing to be aware of, it’s a snug fit and easy to think that it’s seated properly when it isn’t. There is a groove at the very bottom of the drain collar, just above the bottom lip, and a slightly raised ridge above the groove (look at the side of the rubber insert and you’ll see what you’re dealing with.) I suspect that many encounter the resistance at the top ridge and think they’ve got it, when they don’t. Pressing down more firmly will expose this situation, when the insert slips down into the groove (its fully seated position.) To accomplish this more confidently (once partially installed to the top of the ridge), push down in just one place along the edge of the insert to get it started and then work your way around until it’s completely down in the bottom groove. My original insert was about 5 years old and in pretty good shape. Recently, an unsuccessful attempt to clear a clogged drain with Liquid Plumber resulted in its being submerged for more than a day in the nasty corrosive mixture until an actual plumber came to fix the problem. Unfortunately, that was the end of the road for the original insert (not so good for the stainless either, I had to scrub away the surface layer to restore its original luster.) Expensive lesson learned, next time I’ll just call a plumber (still expensive, but would’ve been significantly less so.)
