These work fine but are too small for a voron build. These are 4.6mm od & voron parts are designed for 5mm od insert. If you are building a voron look else where.

I built a Voron Afterburner using these (retrofit to a non-Voron printer) as the correct ones were difficult to source quickly. If I was doing a full Voron build, I'd probably get the right ones as there are structural components that these may not work well in, as they are a little smaller than the holes and tend to drop in a bit more than I've seen in Voron build videos. However in my case it was only the toolhead, and these did still "melt in" well when heatsetting them. None of them stripped out when screwing everything together, and so far everything is holding up well. YMMV, but these may work okay for some Voron parts if you're looking for quick delivery.

I've been building a Voron 2.4 3D printer, and one of the items on the BOM is an M3x5x4 heat-set insert. I ran out of those, so I bought these to refill my stash.Well, the outside diameter of these is slightly smaller than 4mm, even though the description says they're 4.6mm OD.At this time, there's only one other reviewer, who is also using them for a Voron, and apparently he's happy. Maybe I received something different than what's described/pictured here?

The design of the knurling gives it a lot more strength than the cheaper insets I've used that pull out with only the slightest amount of torque. I got these to build a Voron Stealthburner toolhead which requires a lot of heat sets. I just used a soldering iron to install. Super easy!
