This is a decent flow regulator, as long as you know that it only regulates anything when compressed air is actually flowing. From its appearance and the product description, I thought it was the kind of regulator that controls both dynamic and static pressure (i.e. when you're not using the connected tool and nothing is flowing, the pressure is still regulated down from the source). Unfortunately, it's the kind that is pretty much just a ball valve inside whose position determines how much pressure the tool sees in active use. This regulator works fine for something like an air nozzle, die grinder, or (probably) paint sprayer. However, it's useless for something like a nail gun that requires static pressure regulation.

It works, and it works well enough for the average garage dweller to get by on. Regulation seems fairly accurate and adjustable of course. I added this to my reel due to my old regulator not working so well, and now I have the PSI adjustment I have been missing. It's works fine for months now, not a problem with this unit.Well done!

This review is for the InoKraft Air Compressor Regulator 1/4" NPT, for Spray Guns and Pneumatic Tools, Good Tightness, Precise, 0-140 PSI, since it seems that the reviews for this items are also for multiple other items, you can't quite, or shouldn't, trust the star ratings because it isn't for this same item necessarily. The device works fine, no issues, I would recommend it to be used. I am using it in my shop to regulate pressure to my air tools, i like that it provides the regulation close to the tool so that i don't have to go back to the compressor to dial it up or down.

This reviev only covers the pressure regulator.I was excited to open the regulator. It appears to be well made with nice materials. However when hooked up, it doesn't really fully regulate pressure unless the air is actually moving. So when the air tool is running, you have a very accurate regulation going on. However once you stop the tool, the pressure in the tool line and the tool will build up to the actual pressure in the compressor line.So even though my tool says Max 90psi, and I've carefully set the regulator to 65 psi to get the staples to drive flush, my tool will be charged with160 psi each time I fire another staple.Obviously not how you need a regulator to work.

After having an issue with my first regulator the company reached out and did an absolutely phenomenal job of correcting the issue. I got the replacement and tried it out and it immediately worked perfectly the first time and every time since. I've put it through the paces and have absolutely nothing but good things to say about it. It's extremely accurate, works perfectly, the knob is very easy to turn, and the customer service is bar none the best I've come accross. Five stars!!!I had been using a very old regulator that had definitely seen better days, and the plastic face was so blurry I couldn't even make out the numbers.... So it was about time to get a new one, and so far this new one has worked great... but with one issue...The pressure appears to be accurate, and I haven't had any issues with painting with it yet. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because the adjustment knob is extremely stiff, and I have tried everything I know how to make it easier to turn, but have been unsuccessful so far. That said, I appreciate not accidentally knocking the knob and changing the pressure mid-job... But other than the extremely stiff adjustment knob it appears it works just fine. I had to use a tool to adjust it one day because it was so stuck, and I even tried moving it back and forth a bunch to loosen it up, but it didn't work.If anything changes I will come back and edit this post, but so far I have only painted with it 4 or 5 times, so we'll see.

This is one of those items that’s a must have but you wouldn’t know it until you have one. For serious gravity painters. 5*

I got this regulator to put on a Bostich compressor. I was able to modify both compressor and regulator so that they are compatible, but it doesn't function as well as I had hoped. It may be a problem with the compressor or my jerry rigging, but air pressure appears to be lower than before. The regulator works, but seemingly does not allow pressures higher than about 90 PSI. Again, it may be my installation that is the issue.
