My husband is an avid skater and absolutely loves these skates! They fit true to size and are very comfortable. The wheels spin very smooth. Great quality skates all the way around.

I really love the quality of these skates. They are very comfortable. The wheels are very stable. They provide a nice and smooth ride. You can turn and stop in them very easily. A lot of fun. Great value for the money. They have great ankle support.

Just in case any regulars are thinking about getting these for everyday skating understand this are essentially what spikes are for track and field. They are for speed and nothing else. They are not comfortable, they aren’t for casual wear and if you don’t know what you are doing you will hurt yourself. Now that the hard part is out o the way, these are great speed skates for training and building strength. I have used them roughly 20 times and I love them, at the price this isn’t a bad option although for another $100 or so you can get much better quality. With that being said, these are great for the price.Until We Meet Again-Off the Grid Ken

My only real complaint about these skates is probably more related to the fact I have flat-ish feet than the skates themselves, but when I wear them, there are spots that feel right and spots that feel a bit loose. I honestly think what I need to do is try a few different inserts with them to find the right fit for my goofily flat feet, and I think that will take care of my slight fitment issues. If you have "normal feet" you should feel great in these, but some of us may need to find a good insert to make up for our feet. The body of the skate is, after all, quite a bit stiffer than your average tennis shoe, so making adjustments at the bottom via inserts is the best way to get a proper fit for your foot. And you want a good fit for your feet with speed skates for reasons I'm sure you can imagine. They're fast, they look SUPER-cool, and, oh yeah, they're fast. If you have oddly shaped feet you may have to try a few inserts to get the right one, though. For a "shoe" like this it's almost unavoidable. 4 stars.

$205.95 with 20% coupon available as of cyber monday. I am a skate inthusiast and on wooden floors these felt like a dream to roll on, however the fit is extremely lacking. The boot is very rigid and since I have a wide forefoot it took me sometime to get my foot in even with the foot liners which were provided along with some extra bearings. The boot is great quality but should secure the foot in areas it does not. I wish the boot came up just a little higher but I'll be interested to try these outside on asphalt in an urban environment. The bearings seems very well lubricated and all rolled well. I am 5'4" 162lbs I wear a women's 9D and my foot measures at exactly 10in with socks the boot fir my length and accomodated my width without hurting my foot for the initial try on. So far I would highly recommend.p.s. laces are included and they are just as high quality as the boot and frame which can be swapped from a 4 wheel to a 3 wheeled situation.

I have skated off and on my entire life, but I've only ever had Fitness skates, so this is my first pair of Speed Skates. The first thing I noticed and love is being able bend my knees more and use my ankles when I push off, its a feeling thing. The wheels are quite a bit larger than what I've previously used but it wasn't difficult to adjust to. I also had to relearn how to break a bit, again wasn't too difficult. I'm keeping this with all four wheels attached, but I love that I can easily switch it to a three wheel variant with the included tools.I also love the way these look, I will always go for Black & Gold when given the option. The shoes strings though not black and gold also match with the rest of the aesthetic. The shoe shells are pretty rigid and tight. These are not easy to slide your feet into, so at first I was worried that I should have ordered a half-size up, but once I loosened the strings correctly my foot popped in and it fit like a glove. These are very fast, and in fact too fast for me. My 250lb 6'1" self is not the most comfortable going 20+ mph on flat road or downhill, and its easy to get there. I used my cellphone to track myself and these skates are no joke. If I can get these going that fast with ease, I can't Imagen how quick someone who is in shape could get going. In all I love these, and my skill is improving everyday with them, but these are not for beginners. You can easily put yourself in a situation when you can be seriously injured. But Pro's or people who have skated their whole lives are gonna absolutely love these.
