These worm compost farms are much larger than I expected them to be. I made o photo of one of them in front of my 4x8 garden to show the size. This will likely pop up from the soil a bit. They are ver solid plastic too. It’s nice that the bottom comes out in case you want to use this bottomless.. I needed up placing this in my taller bed. As soon as i placed it in, i saw a baby worm making a b-line for it. I scrounged up some night crawlers last fall and they are already multiplying. I expect them to grow much larger now with all this compost to keep them busy. This also has a dial on the top so you can remember the date that you put the compost in. It’s not fancy but it gets the job done. If you need a large compost/worm bin for your garden, this one will do the job for you.

I've struggled with success when using a large barrel composter and was excited to see this small in-ground version. I like that it is small enough to fit into a raised bed, however the bed will need to be at least 12 inches deep to properly bury it to the top. The top is easy to remove to add compostable waste without difficulty. It has a 31 day "timer" on the top with a moveable arrow to keep track of how long it has been since you filled it. I have one concern, it is made of hard plastic which may breakdown from exposure to the sun or simply age and release chemicals or microplastics so I plan to watch it carefully.

Great way to compost inside my raised garden beds with these cylinders. Plastic housing seems to be very sturdy and unlikely to break after being buried in my beds. Plenty of space inside the cylinders to store at least a couple of months' worth of compostable material. I use a 1 gallon compost bin in my kitchen that tends to get emptied out once a month, so this kit should be perfect for my use.

I can’t wait for warm castings! I buy them right now and it’s become very expensive. Now that I’ve increase my guard and I really need to have a way to make my own earthworm castings. I didn’t want to have one of those big set ups because it would take up a lot of space. I love this one because it goes into the ground and my earthworms do their thing and I have what I need for healthy garden
