This was the fourth toaster oven air fryer brand that I’ve tried and this one is perfect. I love everything about it. I love the color. I love the LED display. I love that it was very easy to learn how to use. This display will let you know how much longer until the timer is done. It will beep when it’s done beep when it’s ready to bake but it’s not an annoying sound It’s actually a pretty subtle.I followed the instructions. Let it bake for 20 minutes and some smoke came out which I expected. I wiped it all out, washed the accessories and when I went to use it, there was no more smoke. It does have an interior light, which I found to be very helpful. I haven’t tried the air fryer, but I did bake and it just came out perfect.I did ask customer service about the stickers on top of the unit. I was told that yes it’s fine to take them off. They’re just explaining safety use.Overall I’d gladly recommend this Val Cucina toaster oven an air fryer.

I have no prior experience with an air fryer but this thing seems to work pretty well. Heats up quickly and seems fairly straight forward to use.

Easy clean first and important! Holds great temperature, doesn't cook more in the back than the front (also super important). Love the timer, temp control. there is nothing bad I can say about this unit!

I really looked for a stove/air fryer that wasn't toxic . . . and it seemed the Val Cucina fit the bill. I bought one but it smoked up the house when I cooked hamburgers (most of the smoke came out of the door instead of the vents. So . . . I returned it (thinking it was defective). So I bought a replacement - same thing - more smoke came out of the door than went through the vents (and yes I had it on air fry with the fan on). I was attempting to cook two patties that I bought at Costco. I am returning this oven.

I really wanted to love this air fryer. We did love it! Until it completely died after only 1.5 months of use. (And that’s not even daily use.) It won’t even turn on. We’ve tried many different troubleshooting options and nothing works. :(

I recently bought this multifunctional air fryer, and I’m really impressed! It’s easy to use and has so many features. I can make crispy fries, roast chicken wings, bake cakes, and even use it as an oven. The cooking is fast, and the food comes out crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with less oil for a healthier option. Cleaning is super easy too—the basket rinses off effortlessly. Overall, great value for money, highly recommended!

I have always been an air fryer skeptic. It's really just a convection oven, right? Apparently not. This combo oven has become a workhorse in my kitchen. It has been great for cooking up things like crispy brussel sprouts, reheating pizza, and broiling a layer of cheese on top of my Mac and cheese. It is also good looking by toaster oven/air fryer standards and makes a nice aesthetic addition to the kitchen. It fits a standard quarter sheet pan which makes it easy to swap out. Operating the dials for selecting cooking modes, time, and temperature was not the most intuitive but I quickly got the hang of it. Overall, would recommend.

The VAL CUCINA Infrared combo oven does a nice job of cooking meals, heating up left-overs, and is easy to operate. There are several presets for specific foods and types of cooking and once set they can be adjusted to your own requirements. There are heating elements on the bottom and the top so food can be cooked from both directions. The top elements can be used for broiling foods. A broiling pan and inserted rack is included, but it is not wide enough to fit in the guides on the sides of the oven inside. Therefore you must use the metal rack to set it on. This seems odd to me as I feel it should fit in the side grooves as the other racks do.It comes with a large basket for air-frying or cooking in general. I've used it to cook chicken breasts, breaded vegetables, fries, and more. It also comes with a rack to cook large items on or to place a heat-resistant dish or container. The oven does a good job and I have used it several times in the past few weeks while giving it a through testing period.I deducted one star due to the outside panels getting hot. There is a warning stamped into the top of the oven as seen in the attached photos and also a label attached to the top with warnings about the heated surfaces. I would like to stress that one inch away from the surfaces the ambient temperature is 80 degrees on all sides and the front glass. But I would advise placing the oven out of reach of children that may touch it. Below I have listed the temperatures of the surfaces to touch. Other than being careful of touching the surfaces I do recommend this oven for everyday use in my kitchen.Surface temperatures while using oven at 400 degrees:Top is 180 degreesBack is 248 degreesLeft side is 148 degreesRight side is 101 degreesFront glass is 248 degreesBottom is 200 degreesNote all temperatures were replicated three times using a digital instant temperature probe.
