This thing is STURDY. It feels more like wood than air. It was also able to hold someone over 200 pounds. He tried to flip it by rocking it around and sitting at awkward angles, but he was unable to flip it. It’s also grippy, so no one slipped off.My lab immediately swam to it, but he is rather large (90 pounds) and struggled with the ladder. This is the only issue. The ladder is a light material, so it tends to float up rather than stay low and sunken. For a shorter dog, it should be fine, but my dog has hip dysplasia and isn’t able to tuck his legs in enough to step onto it when it floats up.The ramp conveniently comes with a carrying case and a pump, which is fantastic because the valve is a special type that I’ve never seen before. The hose twists into the valve rather than shoves in like typical pool floats. Unfortunately, when I was blowing it up, I tried to pull the hose away from the valve instead of twisting it, and the pump hose bent. This is expected considering how cheaply made the pump is, but it’s not good when the valve is so unique because I definitely didn’t own anything that would work in its place.I definitely recommend this thing. It’s safe and exceptionally sturdy. The ladder could be better, but it shouldn’t be an issue. Definitely be careful with the pump when blowing it up, though!

When we unpacked this dog pool ramp we were pleasantly surprised on how well this ramp was made! It is made with the thick rubber that they use for pontoon boats. Very easy to inflate and set up. The dogs learned very quickly how to get I and out. We absolutely love this dog pool ramp! I highly recommend this to every dog paren with a pool!

I'm using this strong inflatable dog ramp for my personal pet when I'm out on the lake relaxing. I'll hook the inflatable dog ramp to my pontoon for my pet to get out of water with ease. I feel that the price is high for the product I received. I like the safety features and sturdiness. I like the size for my medium sized poodle. I am satisfied with its quality performance and portability. I would recommend for it convenient design and safety features.

We decided to give this a try in our pool with our two younger pups. While we have steps leading in and out, they’re still a bit too small to get themselves out. This was the perfect fix. The first thing I noticed when opening was the thickness of the material. It’s thick. It reminds me of those “commercial” rafts you’d find on ships, or like the rafts used for white water rafting. It includes a stand up floor pump to inflate which I wasn’t going to use at first but figured I’d give a shot. It’s not like those small cheap hand pumps you get with pool inflatables. It’s quite large actually. It took a few minutes of pumping to fully inflate the ramp, no biggie. Once inflated I set it in the water and it felt very sturdy. The center “ramp” section floats downward and I used two of the eyelets to secure it so it doesn’t float away. As far as function, both the puppies easily got out of the water and onto the rearward platform so, I’d say it works very well. The caveat is my youngest son thinks it’s another pool float as I found him “lounging” in it. Again, very sturdy. My only gripes (if you can call them that) are specifically with the pump. The raft itself is top notch. The pump hose is a pain since it doesn’t have a separate rotating piece at the connection point to the pump. So when twisting it on, the whole hose twists. You have to be mindful of this when attaching it to the ramp for inflation since that end also secures by twisting it and locking it in. The only other thing that didn’t make sense was the “adapter” the pump hose comes with. It’s a reducer to fit the ramp connector. I’m assuming the manufacturer has other products they use this pump for as well that take a larger sized connector. Nothing big, just something I thought was unnecessary. In any case, the ramp works very well and I couldn’t be happier with it. I’m sure once the puppies get bigger we won’t need it anymore but for the time being, it gives up a sense of security they’ll be able to get themselves out of the water when needed. This past summer we rented a lake house. There was a dock that adjusted to the level of the lake. I knew that the dogs would not be able to easily get in and out from the dock, so I got this floating ramp. It was an absolute must. I did have to get into the water with them to show them how to use it, but after a few tries they both took to it. My dogs are 6 years old and 9 months old, both weighing approximately 70lbs. The ramp needed time to become saturated with water so it would sink down far enough for the dogs to use it. But after that, even my husband was able to climb out of the water from it. We used it for six days straight and have zero complaints.

This is the best safety ramp for a pool! It’s heavy duty and made very well. Easy to assemble and train your doggo to use.
