Great for older dogs. The medium size works well with our couches & bed. This is the 3rd one of this type we have purchased. We have a 16lb Schnauzer mix & a 25lb Terrier mix and they get good footing when climbing up/down the ramp. It helps reduce over extension and injury of their knees and elbows -- especially when climbing down the ramp.

We could not get our 2 cocker spaniels to use it, one is 12+ and the other is 8 and are both rescues we’ve had for 2 years. We tried luring them with treats,etc. Also the product doesn’t look like the picture. The cover does not fit right over the curves that are supposed to be like stairs. Expensive for what the product looks like.

Our Llasa Apso is getting on in years and having trouble jumping up on the couch. We've purchased hard plastic type steps and a ramp, with absolutely no success in getting our pooch to use it. As a last resort, thought I'd give this a try as it looked to be something that might work. I wasn't disappointed. This is a GREAT product and our dog took to it IMMEDIATELY! Much better than steps, as it gives them something sturdy, yet soft to climb up. It's very easy for him to get up now. A product has to be very exceptional for me to take the time to comment about it and this ones hits the mark!

Well made and delivered before estimated time! Took my Frenchton about 5 minutes and two treats to learn to go up and down! Best part about these steps... they were made in AMERICA!!! This particular style is best for medium to small dogs in my opinion.

My cat Buddy really loves this....he's 17 years old and finds it hard to jump up and down on the sofa...I ordered this and just had to help him once to show him it was his "friend"....I ordered the medium for the sofa, works perfectly for that, and am considering ordering the large for the bed!!

This pet ramp is sturdy yet light in weight. It juts out from the end of my king size bed like a peninsula but let me be honest with you. It doesn't hurt when I stub my toe or trip over it! That's a big plus for me. I'm a chronic toe stubber and this pet ramp is a blessing.

I was apprehensive due to the expense of this product however, it actually is perfect for my dogs needs. He is a 15 lb Yorkie with arthritis and has had knee surgery. I bought the middle size stairs because I wanted a more gentle slope. The foam is firm and he is able to walk up using any portion of the steps. The decline is perfect and he always uses instead of choosing to drop of the couch as he did because my standard stairs were to steep and uncomfortable for him as he has aged.

My older dog loves it. It is easier for her to climb than the hard stairs were.
