Was fairly easy to install, only down side was the package was missing a screw and one of the wall stabilizers was crushed. Works very well and holds a decent amount of clothing

This clothes line is really fantastic! It was easy to assemble using a drill and the room we put it in is 8 feet long and it stretches across it with no problem. This is a really great way to be able to line dry clothes inside and not have it take up a lot of space or be ugly when not in use.

One of my favorite hotel features is the retractable clothesline to hang wet bathing suits in the shower so I’m not sure why it took so long to get one for the house. This was easy to install and didn’t disappoint. The design was simple and the tension was great. It doesn’t take up a lot of space is very functional.

The length of the cable isn't as advertised, the stopper that is meant to keep the tension sometimes slips if you hang too much weight (as in a comforter), and the wire collects lint like crazy. It gets the job done with patience, but I'd personally be better off if I just bought some coated wire and tied it around something.

We put this up in the garage to dry clothes. This works well if you don't have a lot of heavy stuff to put on it. Tshirts are no problem but I wouldn't put more than 2 pairs of jeans on them if you have other clothes you want to dry too.

In the summertime we often hang wet bathing suits on wall hangers in the shower. Recently we added a socket-fan similar to these ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CXP9VNC1 or https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CR9T24QN ) to move the air around, but found that there were more things to dry than we had hooks for, so ordered this retractable clothesline. The installation instructions are fairly complete and illustrated. On a fiberglass shower the aluminum mounting brackets are glued to opposite walls. The kit comes with a small but ample tube of what feels like a quick-tack construction adhesive (similar to https://www.amazon.com/Loctite-Express-Construction-Adhesive-2031710/dp/B018IW732E/ref=sr_1_6?dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.1teMTHALZpyFmXMNjHCJwFJ-aK69RAuUNpaCtP6K_2eu4N0ySgQswW-K546mmvNmMG-Y1gRky6IqdrlT90gJRbCBS4cTJv2LwVFbJS1fJp-WGjS7uwlOngLrlwZ6Dz5zlPFdRwQEROxH6bljfgp148EqmRCZMw4j0ad74MweqLLYgtjOJDZtU0cciuuG6lbYdMFj2CU6VwCrOJ2JT9qPOheIKWzgnVd-_9-JB20bT4o0iwabtPfp10C1Cpv3DeN-iZZ8YePzv8XApgQNLZOIPoXsR_7wwjDGqiODse1HydE.X5hxnyg9JxIXO-4-7r9iJaG81lih1N5aOXNQi4qAavM&dib_tag=se&keywords=construction+adhesive+with+quick+tack&qid=1719436635&sr=8-6 ). I pre-fit the aluminum pieces to the cord dispenser and hanger brackets, marked which side faces out (to keep myself from putting them on backwards), lightly sanded the surfaces that would be glued to the wall (this was something I added to the process to help make the glue more effective). I marked the positions on the shower walls where I wanted the dispenser and receiver to go, then cleaned the fiberglass on the shower wall with a bit of acetone (so I wouldn't be attempting to glue to soap-scum). I applied the glue (see photo of glue partially applied across the back of one of the pieces) to the sanded side of the aluminum brackets and held them to the wall and wiggled them around slightly spreading the glue evenly between the aluminum bracket and the wall. If I had to guess, I'd say that I spread the glue about 1/8" thick evenly across the entire sanded portion, and only had a minimal amount of glue squeezing out the sides when I pressed it tightly to the wall. The kit comes with stickers that help hold the bracket in place while the glue is drying (for 72 hrs. so plan accordingly) but after you've pressed it against the wall for a minute or so, the glue becomes very tacky and the aluminum pieces don't move. The cord, the retractable dispenser, and the receiver all appear to be high-quality and durable. I haven't had a chance to test it for long, but it seems to work well and provides lots of hanging room between the two end walls and advertises that it can hold 20Kg (about 44 lbs.) My shower stall/tub is standard sized, and there's plenty of cord.

Nothing better than having extra room in our smaller laundry room. Durable good quality lil gadget! It is easy to use and yes it’s retractable and it really really works! Great value! I had to ut it up pretty high so i also purchased a hanger pole/stick to put the clothes up on it and take them down. Soooo worth it! I have recommended this many times!
