This indoor growing system does not look like it is actually a hydroponic system, but it does seem to be able to self water for a few days, as long as you have water filled into the bottom trays of which the pots sit on. Each pot contains a strand of absorption cord to draw water up into the potting soil and a cotton circle pad to cover the pot holes to keep soil from falling into the water reserve. On the two pot light stand, which I got, the top of the second pole doesn't have a pole cover for the end, so it just leaves an open hole screw edge showing at the top, which isn't pleasing to see making it seem unfinished. The light connecting cord is fairly short also, so it doesn't leave much in the way of option or room for pot placements. It is definitely not for areas of your home that have children or animals around because it can easily topple over. Otherwise, it does feel sturdy enough to hold your plants in their pots securely enough. It's a nice option for small spaces. The lights work well just as described, and the whole setup was very easy to do, following the video setup of this item from the descriptions video.

As a plant enthusiast with a distinct lack of outdoor gardening space (and perhaps a slight aversion to dirt under my fingernails), the Indoor Plant Hydroponics Growing System Tower Kit has been an absolute game-changer. It's like I've given my leafy friends their own luxury apartment complex, and they're thriving in their new, soil-free digs.First off, the "tower" design is brilliant. It's compact, making it perfect for smaller living spaces, and it utilizes vertical real estate that would otherwise be wasted. My plants are no longer sprawling across every available surface; they're elegantly stacked, reaching for the sky (or, more accurately, the grow lights). It's a testament to modern engineering that I can now grow a mini-farm in my living room without looking like a hoarder. The setup was surprisingly straightforward. If I can assemble flat-pack furniture without too many leftover screws, I can certainly get this hydroponics system up and running. The instructions were clear, and before I knew it, I had a silent, efficient, water-circulating ecosystem humming along. It's almost too easy – I half expected a tiny plant butler to emerge and offer me a freshly picked basil leaf. And the results? Phenomenal. My herbs are practically doing a happy dance, growing faster and looking healthier than anything I've ever managed to coax out of a pot of soil. The consistent nutrient delivery means no more guesswork, no more over or under-watering. It's like the plants are on a perfectly tailored diet plan, and they're absolutely flourishing. Plus, no more pesky soil-borne pests trying to crash the party. If you've ever dreamt of having fresh greens year-round, or if you just want to impress your friends with your futuristic gardening skills (without actually getting your hands dirty), this hydroponics tower is a fantastic investment. My plants are hydrated, happy, and living their best vertical life, and I'm enjoying the fresh produce without the backache. Highly recommend – it's practically foolproof, which is exactly what my gardening endeavors needed.

This is a better system than I expected. The lights good and the stand is fairly solid (assuming you don't have rambunctious kids or pets who'll knock it over). But it's not as elegant as I'd like. It's pretty easy to set up, except for some wiring which I'll discuss in a bit. The stand has about half a dozen pieces that screw into one another. The lights then affix to the poles and the pots do as well. The pots are good size and can hold a typical herb plant you'd buy at the market. It also has a rope that goes into the soil with ends of the rope dipped into a small reservoir of water at the base of the pot. This allows the plant to "self water" for a few days, although I wouldn't put TOO much trust into it.The unwieldy aspect I mentioned is with regards to the wiring. It can be a little tricky figuring out how to run the wiring around the plants so you don't have an ugly mess, but still have enough slack so the wires aren't being dangerously pulled at the ports. It would've been far more effective and esthetically pleasing if the wires could run through the beams. But that's my biggest complaint. That, and I wish there were more settings for the timed lights (there are only 3 timer setting so you'll wanna use plants that fall within that range of needed sunlight).4 stars for now. I'll update this if necessary.
