I wasn't sure I liked these better than fluorescent bulbs because of the low heat factor and because LED light can burn my seedlings if they're too close, but I've adjusted things and have grown some dandy plants. I really do like the cost savings!! These are the same wattage as a fluorescent bulb but I can use less than half as many. They're very bright and I appreciate the shades that direct the light down and away from my eyes. They allowed me to change to lighter weigh PVC light stands that I can take apart when I'm done. I think a double stand using one yellow light and one white works well. Happy growing.

PPFD is pretty important for plants. Using my PPFD meter, I was able to verify the light put out 240 PPFD at 8" which is above what they claim.using these to grow lettuce in a green house in winter. Will update my review in a few months with a video.Great value if you can get the 4ft 6 pack at $100 but still good at their $130.

The item arrived quickly and was in good shape. The lights are extra easy to use, great for shelfing that is used for starts and microgreens. Probably going to buy more for growing larger plants too. The light guards make them extra bright for growth. So many options for setup and use. Thanks.

I recently purchased two sets of Barrina Plant Growth Lights from Amazon, and I’m pleased with the experience. The delivery was impressively quick—ordered on August 20 and delivered on August 23 via regular shipping.Installation was straightforward, and the lights are incredibly bright. I’ve installed one set in an indoor mini greenhouse and another on a plant shelf. The quality is excellent, and I’m overall satisfied with the performance. One suggestion for improvement: the power cord is a bit short for the indoor mini greenhouse setup. Despite this, I highly recommend these lights to other buyers.

I usually buy the T5 because I use them in cabinets. But I got the T8 because I wanted to try them with a printed light stand someone makes. Since im using these outside a cabinet i wanted to maximize the light area. These have 2 strips at a slight angle vs the t5 with single strand. Comes with reflectors which I havent used. So these work great outside but I would not use them inside the Milsbo or Fabrikor, I have a feeling things might get crispy. In a tent they would be ok tho

I'm really impressed by the brightness of these lights. They are easy to install. Come with long daisy chain cable which I was also impressed. The lamp are warm to the touch so if you are planning to install this in en enclosed indoor greenhouse make sure you have ventilation and a way to let this heat escape. Overall if they last long those Lamp deserve a thumbs up! 👍

Quite nice - few months at about 12 hours per day and no problems top date. We are using to illuminate plant starter shelves. VERY lightweight, with plastic LED tube covers, so tough and very resistant to breakage. If you intend to make these adjustable (move around or varying heights) you will need to buy some small eye hooks or such to hang them from, as the sticky-back and screw-in and cable-tie mounting options they provide parts for are pretty much fixed in place. We used small eye screws into the bottom of the shelf above, then 1, 2 and 3" S hooks for easily adjustable height over the plants - though you could use string or new cable ties each move or such as well. Lots of suspension options because the lights are so light weight. The jumper wires allow you to daisy-chain them not just in a row, but like we are - 2/shelf, with jumper wires from one to the next on a shelf, then from other end up and down to other shelves to chain together up to 6 in a group. Makes wiring a snap.Word to the wise - do NOT be looking anywhere near them when you turn them on - VERY intense at close distance.Note these come in both natural sunlight and a very pinkish-purple light tube version (white light working well for us for flower and corn and tomato starts), as well as in different lengths and square block panels, so be careful you are ordering the version and size you want.Couple of things not covered in the otherwise fair instruction manual - the tiny 3-lobed pieces of white plastic are push-in covers to cover any unused ends not used by jumper or power cord wires - otherwise you have live powered prongs exposed at the ends, a major safety hazard they do not talk about. The about 3/4" long 3-lobed pieces are jumpers if butting two lights closely end-to-end, rather than using the longer jumper wires. Also - the tubes come with a saran wrap-like protective covering that you need to peel off the tubes (without yanking the end caps off with them) - instructions say nothing about that.

It took me forever to decide on some grow lights for my indoor veggies (tiny tim tomatoes, beets, radishes, bush beans, various herbs, and lettuce). There is just an insane amount of conflicting information out there on what parameters are best for indoor plants. I was honestly really nervous to get these and worried I'd be disappointed because I already wasted $80 on other lights that did nothing for my veggie plants :( so I couldn't justify spending a lot on trial #2. These were in my budget and thankfully have made my indoor gardening adventures actually successful, yay! So far in the month I've had these up my tomatoes have flowered and have tiny tomatoes forming and my radishes are also forming bulbs. My beets, beans, and lettuce all are growing at a noticeable pace and doing great. I'm pretty impressed!I have 2 bars of lights for each of my 3 rows of shelving, which seems to be effective for everything I'm growing. They give off a natural sunlight color which makes looking at and caring for my plants enjoyable. Biggest thing to get the most out of these lights (that I realized after testing it one of my three my tomato plants) was to use reflective material to bounce the light around your plants more. I just used tinfoil because it's cheap and already in my kitchen, I could make it whatever size I needed. My tomato plant was thriving more with the tinfoil bouncing the light around so I put tinfoil to kinda create a tunnel for all levels if my grow shelves. So many new flowers on my other two tomato plants now! I've also noticed that the heat (which is very minimal) and light germinate my seeds very fast, my new bush bean plant sprouted in 2 days, compared to over a week using my old lights. Same seed packet in the same 30 days so I'm convinced the lights made the difference. My sage, rosemary, and basil also sprouted in about 3 days. I'll be germinating all of my seeds in the spring under these lights for sure.I'd definitely buy more. They give you everything needed to install these. I installed mine onto my metal storage shelving and it was easy to install. If you're hoping to grow some veggies indoors, these lights seem to do a pretty great job of it! Just be sure to use the reflective material like tinfoil and you'll be a happy gardener!
