If you have dogs, you’re gonna have to have these in stock. The only issue I have is that after a few years, these will start to degrade and you will be left with a big chunk of uselessness. But I still recommend having them always on hand for dogs that have sensitive stomachs because it will ease the stomach very quickly. It’s kind of like humans having Tylenol in their cabinets at all times

I adopted my dog approximately five years ago from another country. Every single food that I tried to feed him he had gas and burping so bad it was horrible. I started him on this and after about two months he was no longer burping or had the gas I give him 1/4 of a teaspoon three times a day in his food, mixed with water. This is a really great product.

We use this in our dog’s food with every meal. The enzymes and pre-biotic are critical for a dog’s GI tract. We use this in conjunction with a probiotic to help better absorb it. Our dog has a inflammatory bowel issues from getting a giardia infection and being on antibiotics that wiped out all the good bacteria in his gut, which led to him becoming allergic to most proteins. This prebiotic has been critical in helping us restore his gut health.

I bought this after reading so many great reviews on Amazon.com. 1 of our dogs has a beef and chicken intolerance; the other 3 all have a chicken intolerance. After a month of eating raw, chicken mince, 2 of our dogs developed diarrhea. 1 had anal glands that weren't expressing, terrible gas, and he could clear a room in seconds.We removed the proteins that started the issues and after reading about OptaGest, I ordered a bottle hoping to see improvement right away. After 2 weeks, we had a new dog. At the end of the first month, all of his digestive issues were history. I actually did a happy dance when we got our first stool (outside the vet's office).The dogs don't have an issue with the taste, I mix the required amount in their raw meals and they much away. They've been on OptaGest for more than 2 months and we've reached a point that when we miss a meal, it's not the end of the world.All 4 of our dogs get OptaGest in their meals 2x a day. Although he still has boughts of gas and runny stool, it's not nearly as bad as before OptaGest. Our holistic vet approves and our dogs are healthier for it. OptaGest also gave us the time to have our dogs tested for protein allergies so that we don't experience this again.If you are trying OptaGest and it's been less than a month, give it more time. I really saw the biggest improvement once our dogs had been on it for 30 days.One more bonus - prevents hair balls - I sprinkle a little into our cats meals and done.
