Apart from the conversion frame itself, the package further includes one small magnetic screw driver and screws.
This dual bracket HDD frame is moulded using high-quality alloys, is a precise fit and thus universally supports all common 2.5" drives. At the same time, an uniform appearance of the PC’s internal is ensured. Please note that this mounting bracket supports side mounting only. Specific screws for holes to mount bracket in the computer case are provided in the package. It's suggested to use the screwdriver to make those holes more suitable if customized/self-owned screws is preferred.

I don't think my MB or drives are fast enough for me to test the cables but the mount itself is perfect for my needs.I was able to mount both my SSD drives in the empty space of a regular HD slot. Perfect for my upgrade.The price was great and it came with everything (and more) that I needed to install my two SSD drives.Sidenote, motherboards often have multiple SATA ports and are not equivalent! Also, try plugging your drives into different ports. My Dell MB has 4 ports, 2 black, one blue and one white. I tried plugging in my SSD into different ports and found that some ports are faster than others. Also, once I found that one was running fast, I tried alternating the SATA port of the other SSD and I found it got faster on one of the other ports! I'm not very familiar with SATA tech but I learned from trial and error and you should experiment too! I suspect the MB has two SATA controllers, one for each pair, and if I plugged each of my SSDs into each controller, I would get the fastest overall speed.

Great quality. Great hardware included. Only catch is the power cable might be short for some full height cases depending on distance of power supply to drive.

SATA power cable connector housing is a bit too wide which causes sata data cable to barely fit (at least in my case with samsung pro ssd). I've had to remove a bit of plastic on the edge to fit properly. Otherwise pretty good product and relatively easy to install.

Perfect fitment in my hp 6300 sff business computer, fitting my Samsung 850 evo. Great fast delivery. Just bought another, to fit more 2.5" drives. This fits 2 2.5" hard drives in a single 3.5" bay.

This was a good buy, in my opinion. Good price, and I like the cables it came with. The splitter was a must for me, and the option of a straight or 90 degree cable was nice. Having it come with the screwdriver was a nice touch, but it would have been massively better to have one with a magnetic tip. I could have just searched around the house to see if we had a magnetic tipped screwdriver that was that small, but I didn't think it would take that long. I underestimated the difficulty of getting the aggravatingly tiny screw to stay lined up while you try and get the upper ssd lined up with the stupid hole. But all of the pain of lining up the screws wasn't even as bad as dealing with the sata cable. The cable that came with the bracket was fine (since it came with a straight cable), but the 90 degree just didn't work at all.The problem was that I had to hook up two SSDs, but only had one straight cable (since the cable my computer was already using was also a 90 degree connector).The bracket mounts the SSD too far into the plate to allow the port to hang by the edge, so a 90 turn brings the connector straight into the metal. This forces you to flip the 90 the other direction, which then puts you straight into the other connectors for your second SSD. Thus, you have to put the 90 on the upper SSD instead of the lower one, but then the 90 points directly into the edge of my case/the 3.5 slot. The cable has to do this awkward, immediate 270 degree bend. I couldn't just put the 90 on the motherboard side, because the SATA ports there had the same problem, where a 90 on one would block the other SATA port.Overall, it fits, it works, I'm happy with it. The quality of the components are fine, and it isn't their fault that I don't have another straight connector lying around, and it isn't their fault that I have big, dumb fingers that hate working with tiny screws. But it would have been a nice touch if they had designed the mounting bracket edge to line up perfectly with the end of the 2.5 drive, allowing a 90 degree SATA connector to actually clear the bracket. But at this price, I probably shouldn't even be complaining.

This comes with a number of great items that can be used or saved till later....even a screwdriver! I found the only problem I had was getting the screws started into the holes. I mounted a small 2.5 laptop drive into a larger desktop computer as it had some things on it that I needed and the laptop had bit the dusk. This adapter worked great for this. I would recommend, if you can, placing screws on both sides off the adapter when mounting into the 3.5 inch bay as I noted with one side tightened down the adapter had a bit of play on the side opposite where the screws were. This wouldn't be a problem on a case like I worked with where the panel opposite the main side case cover was easily removable but might be a bigger hassle on those cases where the back side panel isn't easily remove to allow you to get the other screw holes. Other than this, I had no problems getting the 2.5 drive mounted. This kit provides a number of extra pieces that I didn't need and so I now have some adapters that I can use on other things. The two y-adapters are very handy if you are mounting two drives at once. Also one is a SATA type y and the other is the older style type plugs. You also get two extra SATA type drive cables if you need them. I didn't but now I have a couple of spares just in case. I found this kit very easy to use and a really handy purchase, Not bad at all.......
