I was looking forward to using this mop. I had a cleaner from Columbia that had a custom made T-shaped mop very similar to Thai one that worked so well for her. The plastic connection holding the stick to the T broke on the first use. So disappointed and too late to return. I will look for another one with a metal connection or one wood piece rather than a plastic connection.

First Cuban mop I ordered arrived broken. Replacement mop is very flimsy wood. Now I understand the reason for the initial broken mop. I would return it, but return has to be boxed. The box it was sent in was probably 3’by 4’ with no packaging material. I didn’t save the box and don’t have one to return it in

Just arrived and put it together, it’s exactly what I was looking for, for cleaning laminate floors with my rags. Fits the Costco rags and I just hydrate them with my solution. I’m 5’5” and this stick is a fine height for me. Seems sturdy and not breakage

Someone told me about the “Cuban mop”, and I started laughing. I watched her use it with just an old towel, and it was amazing how easy it is. You don’t have to buy any other products you can use all of your old clothes, like T-shirts and towels. I definitely recommend this mop!

So I bought this thinking it would be the perfect minimalistic mop and that it would be the easiest thing to use. So imagine you have to mop under a piece of furniture that is in a corner, you cannot mop that corned going diagonal. You have to wedge behind the furniture to do do. The pole stick also wasn't that sturdy as it had a lot of give. It bended pretty easily when I applied pressure. My wring mop gets into all nooks and crannies and I don't know why I doubted it to begin with. This is perfect though for homes that are empty and need cleaning before moving in, but you will need to consider if this mop will allow you to get between and behind the toilet.

Originally very excited to find an item with such specific description. Couldn’t wait to try it out as these are the types of mops I grew up with. Overall, the mop is ok. A bit too clunky on the bottom side, perhaps a square finish would have been better than a circular finish to provide a better grip to the towel. A really thick towel is needed so that the wooden mop doesn’t scratch wooden floors.

Well, you have read the description and seen the photo for yourself. It's not entirely wood product and has cheap assemble plastic ends. Misleading product and seller.

Was happy to finally find a wooden mop to clean my floor but unfortunately it broke after I made fist use of it. Very sad.

As soon as I took it out of the packaging I could see it was cheaply made. Firat things I noticed were the varnish peeling around the joint and flakes of varnish all over the handle that had to be brushed off. Also there is a black plastic top piece so that it can hang on a hook but it is loose and can't be readjusted. Also notice there is no black plastic piece in the photos. When I mop with it the handle bends slightly so I feel I have to be gentle with it.I wanted a mop that was plastic free and quality. I'm not confident this will last any longer than the cheap mops from the store.

I have wood floors and have not found a mop that does what I need it to do until this one. I have been mopping by hand to get the results I was looking for. I made some modifications to mine for the fact the towels I use are small and the wood on the mop is lacquered so I had a towel slippage issue. My whole house is wood flooring and the "microfiber" mops don't work and they are made so cheaply you can't really put any down pressure on them. This you can it's sturdy for scrubbing in those traffic areas and like I said I use small 15 x 12 towels the type you buy at hardware store they are cheap and you get 20 of them once they are dirty I use another one. I just soak the towels and use my washer to spin and drain and I have 20 plus mop heads ready to go to work instead of just using a dirty microfiber pad. I use Bona spray then mop. For the towel slippage issue I used some of that non slip stuff that you would use for under area rugs and 4 tie wraps now this mop works like a dream and if the towel should slip I don't have to worry about damage to my floor.
