I purchased a pair of the IMAK gloves for my wife. She tells me that wearing the gloves has helped to alleviate the discomfort of her arthritic hands. The gloves keep her hands warm without interfering with her dexterity. The compression of the gloves suits her as well.

The title basically says it all, and they don't work for me at all. Couldn't return them because I opened the non-sealed box...one star less for this hidden policy, since the ad says FREE RETURNS.

these are for my husband. his hands get cold so easily now and the gloves with the compression and the softness of the fabric provide the warmth he needs to keep his fingers moving.

I’ve worn these gloves on and off for 2 days. So far they’ve definitely helped with carpal tunnel. The gloves fit just right and I enjoy feeling the compression.

I have really bad arthritis (RA) in my hands. I'm only in my 20s but it's pretty debilitating. I used to paint and crochet and do all sorts of crafty things using my hands everyday. This has been the only relief and I've recommended it to all my artsy friends who complain of hand pain.PROS:Warm, does the job, not too tight. Much better than that brand you find at craft stores. Seriously. I've bought both and this is superior. The fabric is very breathable and it's easy to forget you're wearing them. The color is pretty neutral so people aren't so judgmental if you wear them like gloves in the winter. The compression is just the right level to do the job and yet still be comfortable. Easy to clean. I just throw them in the washer on gentle and hang to dry.CONS:You don't want to take them off to go to the bathroom or eat. But you have to.I got them in grey so they are easy to lose. I specifically wanted them in grey so they wouldn't stand out but I have a hard time keeping track of them.

My 86 year old dad has arthritis in his hands and his old gloves helped very little. I got him these IMAK compression gloves and a pair of the Thermoskin Premium gloves. While the Thermoskins will probably be helpful for working outside, he hasn't worn them much yet (they don't fit as smoothly as the IMAK's and are kind of a weird material) but he LOVES these IMAK gloves, wears them every day. He says they are "perfect," which is amazing. I'm ordering him another pair but the "active" IMAK's with the textured palms for grip.I should point out that although the IMAKs are lighter and offer the best comfort, the Thermoskins are made of different materials, they are thicker and feel like they have significantly more compression. Each have their benefits and which one would be best for you depends on your needs. I think my dad will end up using them both.My hands are fine, but I may get a pair of these for myself anyway. I tried them on and they are just SO comfortable and feel really good.DO take the time to measure hands for correct size before ordering. If they are too big you won't get the benefits they are designed to provide. I will try to include the sizing guide from the box in this review, or you can find it at http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/71u61ud48bL._SL1500_.jpg
