Don't quite understand the critical reviews of this product. This item came in the mail, and is useable within 30 seconds of opening. Simple design, you don't even need to ready instructions. Put in the batteries, put to forehead, press the one button, done.I've found the accuracy to be good (in testing while not sick on an adult), and with a little one on the way this will be good to have around. Readings are very fast, and design is simple.

Nice simple thermometer with one button operation. The display is bright and clear, and changes color based on the results. Takes 2 AAA batteries which are included, and the quick start guide is brief and easy to read.This works just like you think it does, and it did come up with the same results as my other thermometer that I used.

It's easy to read the display which changes color to let you know you are in the safe, warning, and danger zones, white, yellow, and red. The shape is sleek and streamline. Every family should have one of these in their medicine cabinet.

The only reason I purchased this item was because it was advertised on sale in the iHealth app. The product number is not listed under the only two thermometers listed and will not connect to Bluetooth. I tried every troubleshooting option listed with no success. Other than that it works great.
