I bought this to carry my snorkeling & personal stuff to the beach to snorkel. It’s plenty big enough to carry swim fins, mask, wet/dry bag, go-pro, phone etc. The bag is lightweight, fairly comfortable to wear & easy to clean after your trip. Unfortunately one of the shoulder straps has started to come off so I may send it back.

I actually bought this for my snorkel gear. And it works perfectly! Fits everything I need, and more. Best part is, it’s a backpack!

Great capacity, comfortable straps, but some odd design choices. The Good! The main bag is big - at just over 2 feet deep, I can fit in three pairs of fins without them poking out. The outside mesh pocket is great for masks and snorkels, and the little inside zippered pouch is great for keys and wallets. The backpack straps are comfortable, and the cinch top will hold everything in place. The Interesting Choices! The bag is nylon, and the main compartment has no drainage. If you’re used to mesh gear bags that you can just hose everything off through, this will be a bit of a change - you really don’t want to get water in this one, or you’ll have to turn it inside out to dry. From a storage perspective, this bag also doesn’t really close - you can cinch the opening fairly tightly, but there’s still a gap. For transport to and from the beach, this isn’t a big deal, but it’s not great for longer term storage.

This is a little bit different shaped backpack that lends itself to some different outdoor purposes. The shoulder straps are padded well and have adjustability. The main compartment closes only via the draw strings. The draw strings can be used to hang on a hook; there is no other strap other than the drawstrings or the shoulder straps to hang the bag.The small inside pocket is zippered. I'm going to use it for smaller items like my padlock, but it would certainly hold most phones, your wallet, and other similar items. The outside mesh pocket is kind of offset which kind of gets on my OCD side, but it is very, very functional. I'll most likely use it for wet/damp items like my towels, etc. This doesn't have the normal backpack structure with "sides". The result is that it stores very, very flat when empty. With the drawstring, the top will taper down a bit which might pinch really big items, but this is quite a long backpack. It does definitely support the shape of swimming fins as they taper toward the heels.Overall, seems to be a durable, simple build that will be useful in a lot of situations.

I was really surprised at how well this thing is made for the price. It's plenty large for a snorkel, mask, and even the medium fins. What is odd though is that the front pocket with the zip top is the only mesh section and it's too thin to store much gear. The larger compartment, shown in the second picture with the bag inside out, shows the whole body of this bag is actually ripstop nylon. The mesh section is sewn to the front of it. So it does not effectively drain or shed dirt and sand. The water just pools in the bottom and slowly seeps out the seam. You can put a hose in it and just about get it full enough to carry water. So, if you intend on bringing your gear home and just hosing off the entire bag and then letting it air dry, this is not the bag for that. That almost makes it more of a good beach bag / backpack than dive bag. Its only been around fresh water so far, so no idea about the meta zipper parts rusting.UPDATE: This bag is about a year old, pretty much spent the last 4 month in a covered truck bed with a some fins, booties, a mask and snorkel. The first and bulk of its life it was in temperature controlled storage except for rare use. Well I just picked it up by the shoulder strap and it ripped off. I tugged on the rest of the straps and they pulled off like velcro. It seems that all the threads just kind of decayed.
