Perfect bag for travel or just going to the water. Used this for our trip to the Caribbean and held everything we needed. Fits the fins, boots, mask, camera, regulator, BCD, wetsuit, torch, smb, snorkel, mask defog. This bag is amazing. PLUS it all fit in the overhead bin on the plane! My only complaint, wish the straps were more padded since it was heavy with all of that in there lol. Other than that, 5 stars!

Works great. Was able to fit my whole setup in it. Just recently switched from jacket bc to backplate and wing. There’s some additional space in it now. Only issue is one zipper broke. The other one still zips all the way around.

For cold water gear 5mm suit or thicker, this will not hold all of your gear. No room for boots, mask and other bulkier items. Unfortunately need to return.

This actually fits all my gear. Easy enough to carry. Love how the whole top opens to fill. Don’t have to worry about tucking in and around zippers or bag edges. Down fall… no padding in the back. My BCD was poking me in the back pretty aggressively while walking through the airport. That was annoying. I did stop to adjust/ replace it a bit but didn’t fully help. Might help to pack a towel down the backside for some padding. I found the fins fit fine clipped on the outside but I can also appreciate that an adjustable strap would be better. I have only used it on one trip so far so we will see how it holds up. For reference I’m 5.5 feet and fins are a small….

I recently had the opportunity to use the Akona Globetrotter All-in-One Carry-On Backpack for my scuba diving trip, and it truly exceeded my expectations! This backpack is expertly designed for divers, offering ample space to securely hold all my gear while also meeting carry-on size requirements. The organization features are fantastic, with various pockets and compartments that make it easy to separate my wetsuit, fins, mask, and other essentials. I especially love the dedicated section for my regulator and accessories(purchased seperately), keeping everything protected and easily accessible. The backpack also includes a padded phone sleeve, which is a nice touch for keeping my electronics safe during my travels.Comfort is another strong point. The padded shoulder straps and back panel make it comfortable to carry, even when fully loaded. I was pleasantly surprised by how light it felt, allowing me to maneuver through airports with ease. The build quality is impressive; the materials feel durable and water-resistant, which is essential for any scuba gear bag. I didn't have to worry about my gear getting wet during unexpected rain or splashes by the beach.Overall, the Akona Globetrotter All-in-One Carry-On Backpack is a must-have for any scuba diver who travels frequently. It combines practicality, comfort, and durability in a stylish package. Highly recommend it to both novice and experienced divers looking for an efficient way to transport their gear!

What a great gear bag. Bought to bring a full kit to Sea Base in Florida for Scout Summer Adventure. Fantastic quality and perfect size! Easily fit BCD, reg assembly with pressure and depth gauges, fin boots, snorkel, mask in the case, and weight bag. Fins strap to the outside. Pockets were big enough for save a dive items, Inflatable Surface Buoy, sunscreen, small first aid kit, and cell phone and key storage with plenty of room left over. Loved it so much we bought 2 and had the tops embroidered so we could tell them apart in a line. You won't regret this purchase for your gear if you have to log it around an airport or a long ways to your dive boat or site.

Hard to believe how much stuff fits in this bag and it still meets the carry on requirements. Our family of five all have one and have used them for international travel without issues. Very comfortable to wear on your back compared to other options we have tried.

First off, like every Akona product I’ve purchased, the quality is excellent and the retail vendor was also excellent. The problem is that for the type of dive equipment that I own there is just not enough room to pack everything that I need. If you’re a warm water diver with lighter gear you’ll probably love this bag but for those who dive with backplates and heavy fins, forget it. Also, as was mentioned by other reviewers, the straps that hold the fins are much too short. With the fins strapped on the pack loses a large amount of internal volume making it hard to carry everything you need. I’m going to try and return this item. Akona needs to rethink this design.

This bag truly lived up to the advertising. It’s well made and perfect for air travel with dive gear.We fit everything: BCD, 5mm wetsuit, regulator, neoprene booties, mask, snorkel, belt & misc accessories & mesh bag for wet gear on site. Fins were strapped to the sides as advertised. Both my husband and I used it on recent diving trips. I flew both Frontier and Southwest on multiple planes and my bag fit in the overhead on every plane end to end just as I would my roller bag.My husbands fins are XL, so he did have to turn the bag sideways in the overhead to accommodate the length of his fins.I will say, fully loaded the backpack will be heavy. I’m 5’6” female and had long walks within the airport, so my shoulders were feeling it by the time I got to the gate. But this would be true of any bag… just saying, be aware carrying all your gear on your back is heavy. Also, we only transported gear dry. I image wet gear would be tough, but doable.

Purchased this bag for a flight from Utah to Key West and a Motorcycle ride from Key West to Utah. This bag performed great - Everything fit and fit perfect in the overhead bins - NO ISSUES. Strapped the bag to my motorcycle and made a great back rest for the ride back. Only one incident - The regs fit in the bottom of the bag, so when you go through TSA the regs definitely reg flag on the Xray. The had to check them which is not that big a deal if you pack everything right. Great bag, well worth the purchase

When I took delivery of the bag I was so disappointed- it looked so small, how on earth would my gear fit in there? I'd bought the matching regulator bag, and put that in the bottom first which seemed to open up some kind of trans-dimensional space. I mean, this bag looks tiny on the outside, it snugs to my back and is much shorter than any other dive backpack of had but fits everything in. Which is why I love it. Everything fits - my medium Zeagle Zena bcd, regs, gauges, mask, rigid snorkel (full size, not one of those foldable ones). Handy pocket on the outside for my computer, wallet etc. This is like one of those mini-minors in the old movies that clowns just keep getting out of. I have no idea how it works, except maybe magic, but it definitely does.
