Have not worn it yet. Saving for a fall vacation. The color is beautiful. Fits great. Very soft. Very packable. I do believe that when it comes to washing will only do by hand. Being 18 degrees today may try it out.

I was worried that this pullover might be a bit itchy, but it turns out it’s really comfortable. I got it in the dark green color, which I love. The zippered neck and pockets are nice touches, the fit is great (and true to size), and I’m overall really pleased with it!

The Iguana Women’s 100% Merino Wool Base Layer has quickly become a favorite in my cold-weather wardrobe. Here’s a detailed review based on my experience:Material and Comfort:The 100% merino wool fabric is soft, breathable, and doesn’t itch—a common concern with wool products. The midweight 260g thickness strikes a perfect balance between warmth and breathability, making it suitable for various activities, from hiking to lounging on chilly days.Fit and Design:The fit is flattering yet practical. It hugs the body without being restrictive, and the quarter-zip design adds versatility for regulating temperature. The sleeves are long enough to keep wrists covered, and the blue color is vibrant and stylish, making it easy to wear on its own or as a layer.Performance:Merino wool is naturally moisture-wicking, and this top does an excellent job of keeping me dry during activities like skiing and winter hikes. It also regulates temperature well—I never feel overheated or too cold. The odor-resistant properties are a bonus, especially for multi-day trips.Durability:After several washes (gentle cycle, air dry), the top has maintained its shape and softness. The seams are well-constructed, and there’s no noticeable pilling, which is a testament to the quality of the fabric.Use Case Examples:Hiking: Worn as a base layer on a cold morning hike, it kept me warm and dry, even as the day warmed up.Skiing: The midweight material was ideal for layering under a ski jacket without adding bulk.Casual Wear: It’s stylish enough to pair with jeans for a casual outing while providing cozy warmth.Criticism:The only drawback is the price—it’s on the higher side compared to synthetic base layers. However, the quality and performance of merino wool justify the cost for those who prioritize comfort and durability.Overall:The Iguana Women’s Merino Wool Base Layer is a high-quality, versatile piece that’s perfect for outdoor enthusiasts or anyone looking to stay warm in style. It performs beautifully in cold weather and looks great doing it.Rating: 4.8/5.Whether you’re hitting the slopes or taking a winter walk, this base layer is a worthy investment. It’s warm, comfortable, and versatile enough to suit any cold-weather adventure.

I love this Merino Wool top. It's super comfy, works as a great base layer wicking away sweat and staying breathable, or for a quick run to the store when it's chilly. Very versatile.LOVE this color! At some point I'll take a photo with it on, but I gained a little weight and the fit is problematic. It's coming off, soon! :-)Regardless, the zipper is really smooth and nice, there's a little hidden pocket in the hem for keys (great for that quick run!) , it fits true to size, it's fitted (oof!) and fits well... Sleeves are long enough for me to grab the cuff and hold it while putting on a parka to keep them from getting pushed up. Stays insulating and warm, even when it's damp, (and decidedly uncomfortable) as you'd expect,This is a great top! Absolutely nothing wrong with it. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again!

This is a fitted top which closely resembles workout gear, but, in my opinion is too thick for the gym. It would work for a light jog in cooler weather, but I personally would not work out in a wool top. This piece is soft, moveable, and fits true to size.It is well made, and the zippers glide smoothly. The fabric is a soft wool which appears to be of good quality. I haven't washed it yet, but will provide an update if it there are issues when I do.The zippered pocket is a nice feature, but it won't hold much more than your ID and a key fob. The pouch is small and shallow, so I would make sure it's zipped at all times if you don't want to lose your valuables. The zipper up top should hug your chest and be easy to pull up and down. You can show as little or as much cleavage as you want, but if you're working out you might want to pull it up at least half-way for more stability. The price is a little on the high side, but of course wool is going to drive the price tag up every time! The thing is, at first glance no one is likely to guess that it's wool. They will see that it's a nice, fitted top though, and that it is. It looks as pictured, so if you like what you see perhaps it's worth the investment.
