GMC 2500 HD Diesel DenaliNote buy the metal replacement cap !My plastic factory was a hassle to remove.I had to take down the entire assemble , put an oil filter wrench to remove as the plastic bolt kept stripping !!!

I inspected the part and it looked like it was the correct part. Installed it. Leaked pumping fuel all over the place. And yes I put the tiny gasket on the grey spindle inside where the filter and cap are supposed to go. I removed this leaking garbage and measured the thread and gasket placement according to the original plastic cap this was to replace. The thread on their unit is shorter than the GM original and the gasket is inside further than the gap where the original GM is. Correct filter and gaskets sent, but this company's housing a 100% useless garbage. The risk here is that the female side of your truck may split from trying to get this to seal. I still do not know whether I turned my fuel system into a leaker. Beware of this product for your $50,000 to $120,000 truck. Definitely too good to be true to upgrade the aluminum that this product promised.

I used IFJF in the past with my 2002 ford excursion 7.3 and their fuel filter cap worked great on that. I recently purchased this one for my 2019 Chevy Silverado 2500 duramax and it works great too. I was little skeptical at first but when I saw reviews that showed it was an updated seal version for the drain bolt I knew it was good to go. No leaks. It came with good threads and was a great price for Black Friday. I highly recommend to get one. It will definitely outlast the stock plastic one.

Return the first order no drain plug , the 2nd order came with no drain plug . It clearly says it comes with a black drain plug . What is going on with the product?
