Love this, my daughter kept asking me what words meant and I'd fumble to remember or look it up on my phone.Since having this we regularly look up words together and I don't need to get my phone out which is nice.Works well, like a calculator for words, clear with good descriptions, not the best bookmark as it falls out of books easily but we've still been using it.

This dictionary is handy to use, but it is not complete as there are words I need to look up that aren't there, so it somewhat defeats the purpose. That's why I did not give it 5 stars.

Got this for kid who likes to read bigger books but wanted definitions fast so as not to lose focus. Rec’d and it was immensely disappointing. Short definitions IF it contained the word in its database, which was rare, many definitions given in French, not English, which was completely unhelpful, (yes, ordered the English version), and definitions were largely incoherent- didn’t add to understanding of the meaning of the word at all. Mostly it would just change the word from what you searched to a word with the closest spelling and a 4-5 word French definition of the word he didn’t seek would come up. Not recommend for anyone, honestly, unless they make a version where you can download your own words and definitions.

Ça ne vaut pas plus cher, ce dictionnaire manque de vocabulaire. Et c'est trop lourd pour un marque page, il n'arrête pas de tomber.

I read to my grandson almost nightly and thought this would have more word base then needed. He can use it just fine but it's disappointing to have to look up elsewhere when a word isn't found. Either way he is building vocabulary.
