Initially, this fixture was a bit expensive, but after installing it, I found it well-made and had all the necessary airtight features. It looks professional, works well, and is made very well. It was a straightforward installation, and I'm happy with it.

This product is excellent. Easy to install. Took a while for my kitties to get the hang of it but they are getting use to it. I would definitely recommend. Came very well packaged and right on time.

Took about 5 minutes to install and it looks very nice. I had to duct-tape the door open for the first several days until my cat figured it out. I think the window panels on either side of the door help with that. They can see that there's nothing scary on the other side of the door.I like that I can easily remove it from the window at any time.I don't like that the window is unlocked and open, so can easily be further opened from outside. So I cut a broomstick and wedged it between the top of the window frame and the top of the open panel.I guess the cat door could be smashed into the house for someone to get in, but it would take a lot of kicking/hitting, because it's wedged in there pretty tight, so I would hear the noise....and it's kind of a moot point, since I can remove it from the window when I'm gone or asleep.Works perfectly for me.

This fitted my window perfectly super easy to fit - we have just got a new dog and so the cats prefer to get to the garden without running the gauntlet of a puppy while we get her cat friendly. It is expandable so as long as you measure your windows properly it will be super easy to fit. It came with some sealing tape but I bought some more for the top of my sash window as a breeze comes through. The cats love it and bob in and out all day as they please. Definitely recommend.

While this is made for aluminum sash windows, I bought this for an old wood frame window and it was just as easy to install. The wood frame meant that there were more air gaps than there would have been with the straight edges of an aluminum frame, so you may need to buy extra foam strips to patch these up (they give you *just* enough). The vinyl strips provided have a weak glue that doesn't hold the strips in place, which is one complaint I have. The door itself works great and the installation is generally a breeze. It also looks good.My main issue is that all someone would have to do to break in is reach through the cat flap to untighten the four frame locks then remove the whole assembly, leaving plenty of room to slip through the window. I tried this and it's easy. I'm not sure how other frames deal with this, but when I built my own using a wood assembly on a wood frame window, I was able to fasten the two together with brackets. Not so easy with an aluminum frame. I wouldn't buy this for a window that isn't exposed to neighbors (or in a high-theft neighborhood).Customer service could be better. When I asked a question via their online site, they never responded. When I asked through amazon they did right away, probably because they knew they'd get a bad review if they didn't.

We live on the upper ground floor and don’t have a direct door to the garden. This has allowed our cat to come and go when he wants :) the materials are high quality and it fits our window perfectly.

Brilliant - we fitted it in a older wooden sash window, and while not perfectly suited to it, it's still working fantastically with a few modifications (mainly adding more padding). Super easy to use and means our cat can come and go as she pleases once more.

This product is amazing. So easy to fit and does exactly what it says. Just wish my cat would use it now but it's early days.

Exactly what we needed, we live in a rented apartment and are unable to make a hole in a door for a cat flap - this solves that issue purfectly.

Bought this cat door about 6 weeks ago. Product arrived promptly via Amazon Prime on Friday afternoon. Everything was included, in quality condition and the directions were spot on. Put together Saturday morning in about 20 minutes including adjusting size and applying tape backed weather stripping. I agree, more insulation is required but cheaply and easily available for your personal needs. Now for the cat part of my story. I have a two year old rescue who has a job here that is frankly, primarily, outside the house. With a well wooded property, I’ve opted to feed the cat instead of poisoning the rodents and thus the raptors. Better karma all the way around. So the cat needs to go in and out. We are both good with the relationship. She spends a good amount of time outside, but I feed her inside so I can keep an eye on her and her health on a regular basis and she hangs out enjoys a bit of TV time on the couch. Five weeks, I installed this door and she won’t come in the door, - she will only go out of it! She has a door on her litter box, so I didn’t really expect an issue. I’ve got a dog that can do 52 tricks and would amaze you, but training a cat to use a cat door was just not as easy as I expected. Started with leaving the two windows open in the house, one she had used before during outdoor training migration, and one where the new cat door was going to be located. So starting with windows only, cat goes in, cat goes out. Cat thrilled. Look at me, I’m in, I’m out. Next day, one window open. She’s a bit slower on this but finally by the end of day, cat in, cat out, cat in, cat out. Put the cat window in and prop open the door. Cat in, cat out, cat in, cat out… couple days later, the cat is inside and I drop the flap into normal position in the evening. In the morning, cat out. All day, cat out. Cat out. Salmon at the entry, hungry kitty. Cat out. Crying kitty, human shaking food, cat out. Prop open door. Cat in. Feed cat, can’t stand noise. Cat sleeping on couch. Let flap down. Morning. Cat out. Leave food. Evening. Cat out. Cat hungry. Cat crying on front porch outside cat door. Cat out. Can’t stand it, open front door, cat in. Cat sleeping on couch. Morning. Cat out. Afternoon, cat out. Cat will not come in the damn door no matter what the hell I do. Five weeks. Five weeks of cat out, cat hungry, cat cries, human gives in, cat naps, cat out… won’t come in!!! crazy right? Five weeks and the cat won’t come in, but it will go out the cat door all day, all night. Tropical Storm Bonnie. Thank you. Cat wet, cat hungry, cat uses door to come in – for the first time – five weeks later!!! Cats are not easy to train. Five stars for the product and the cat they are both working well now.

The product is very sturdy. There are no plastic parts to bend, break or look cheap. The color is a bright white. The glass and metal are very good quality and it is very easy to install. To install you literally open your window, set it in the frame, turn the metal knobs which releases a spring inside and the sides spring open to the size of your window. Next you put on the weather stripping and you are done! It fits nice and tight and secure. It has a magnet that keeps the door from swinging in the wind which is nice but you might need to help your cat learn how to push on the door. My cat is very timid so training her to push on the door has taken about a month or so but she has got it now. To start training her, I propped the door open so she could get the idea of going in and out and every couple of days I would prop it open a little less until she was trying to squeeze her way through. Once she was ok with the sensation of the door touching her body as she went through the hole she was figure out to push the door to get in or out. The door also has several settings that have been helpful in training my cat to use the door.
