You get what you pay for with tools. This one is well made and works well. Stripping blade is replaceable so should last a lifetime. It does fail to strip once in a while as other reviews have noted and it might take a couple tries. But it's not a deal breaker. This is still far superior, more efficient and easier on the hands than cheap scissor style strippers. Pay attention to the model numbers because they have different wire size capacities.

I bought this wire stripper to replace the same kind, that I lost. I used the other one for years. I like it over other wire strippers. Easy to use. No roughed up insulation.

I have always heard that A MAN IS NO BETTER THAN THE TOOLS THAT HE HAS TO WORK WITH... and this tool makes you the BEST!!!I started out with a similar tool in 1973 and decided to "retire" it recently. This was an excellent choice and money well spent. I especially like the blue accent on the hand grips.Thank you.

Top quality product. I wish I hadn't bought the cheap one I found at some local hardware store. Stripmaster is the best.Just make sure you know what your wire gauge is... and know the difference between solid and stranded wire gauges.It doesn't have a means of measuring the strip length. That's the one thing that would make it better.
