I purchased these to help keep silverfish at bay in my condo, as they don't like the scent of cedar, but I did find the scent wasn't as strong as I had liked. I bought cedar oil to add to the pouches for more scent.

I wanted to use these to protect my stored clothing and blankets instead of mothballs. However, when they arrived, they had almost no scent. I think the cedar shavings inside were old and stale, so they could not be used for what I wanted.
