This is great for making sachet bags for putting clothes or linens in storage for the season. Lavender helps keep bugs away and smells a great deal better than mothballs. A couple of teaspoons in a wee muslin bag or some cheesecloth and it works perfectly. No bugs, and when the box or bag of clothes is opened later, it smells of lavender, instead of stale air or mothballs. I keep this on hand to put in anything, including boxes of important papers, boxes of yarn, a wee craft box for our friend's kid when she comes to visit...anything.

I bought these to put in scented candles, bath salts, and other things I make as gifts. They're exactly what I wanted. They smell great and this package has a very large amount of lavender buds. Definitely recommend to anyone who needs lavender buds for projects.

There is an awful lot of lavender in the compressed bricks. You open them by cutting the top of the compression bags apart. At the top, NOT where the extra bags and sachet bags are on the bottom. Strong scent and fluff out to a great degree. Much more in the bag then it looks like. There's also 2 sachet bags, one storage bag and a small scoop in there. But they are on the bottom, not on the top of the package. Lucky I guessed right! They more than fill a gallon ziplock bag.
