If you have any odors in your city or well water this will help. I have used the same filter for 2 years and it's still doing it's job, but it also has a 10 micron & 1 micron upstream to remove any dirt, this will help this filter last so much longer as they just need to remove odors and not dirt

Got this to replace the whole house water filter in my house. Fits my system and seems to work well. I have not had any issues so far. Have not noticed any changes to taste but have noticed water gets hotter or colder respectively. This suggests that it is filtering better than normal filters. Will see how long it lasts but it seems to be working well

We bought a place near a lake to retire in. But the well water has bad rotten egg smell, and lots of black particles. We tried several filters, and all would work for perhaps 3 - 10 days. This filter kicks butt!!!! It gives us approximately 6-7 weeks of clean, clear, non rotten egg smelling water. I wish it lasted longer for us, but you can't have everything :) A great filter.
