I use these in my well house and they work great! Gets the smell and color out of the well water. Water pressure and flow is just the same as without it. I can not tell you how awsome it is to have these take all the bad qualities out of my water. Super easy to install. If you have well water and are looking for a good fiter these are it! I only have to change it once a month!

Looks identical to the well-known AP filter, but significantly cheaper. I will post an update once I used it for a few months. Will have to see if it imparts any odor or flavor, and how well it actually filters. I jut need it to keep rust and sand out of the well water, we have an extra carbon filter for our drinking water.

These are a great deal and I can attest, they're consistently only letting 5 microns through. I've been rotating three 10 micron filters for years and noticed the price for this 3 pack. I live on a well that has high iron content and these make the water almost clear. If you know about iron, even a few PPM will give it a yellow to orange tint. The frequency of rotation is the bane of water filters. If you use these as disposable, I can't say if they're a good deal or not. If you have high iron like I do, there's a solution.If you purchase some powdered Oxalic Acid here on Amazon, mix 60 grams with a gallon of water and let the filter soak for a few hours, preferably in the sun or below UV light, then rinse, most of the iron will oxidize and you'll be able to reuse the filter. It's a great money saver.

I decided to try this brand after the Culligan version showed price increases and variations. Effectively you are getting 2 units for 1.5X the price of the alternative. It fit perfectly in the filter housing and the flow has not been restricted. We ran a SDI test on it to compare with the competitive version and they were identical. I do not have an idea of how well hit will continue to perform since it has only been in service 1 month. I will come back after 3 months and update this review. However, so far I am very pleased with the performance.

Filter water for rotten egg smell. Working best kind so far. Less than half price of previous brand. Usually change every 5-6 months. See how long this one lasts. So far so good.
