Very sturdy and the point breaks up ice chunks easily. I like having the screw on cover so I can put it in a drawer without being concerned somebody will get stabbed! When I bought it, the price was $4.99 - very reasonable for a quality ice pick.

Purchased this because when I make ice in the portable ice maker and transfer it to the feeezer it tends to meld together so needed and quick easy way to break it up. Great price and easy to handle isn’t heavy at all.
