I purchased this thinking 3 spikes must be better than one and it looks cool. Well, it still looks cool, but I keep it in a drawer so that doesn't really matter. I don't go through a lot of ice from my freezer so I got this to break it up for when I do want some ice. It works fine, but I expected it to rock my ice-breaking world and it just doesn't. Maybe it's better suited for blocks of ice, but I suspect a single spike might've been more useful for my purposes. It works and it wasn't very expensive. I don't love it, but I didn't send it back and I'm not replacing it with something else.

The short, three pronged ice pick works better than any other ice pick I have ever had!! This type is so much better than the longer single pronged pick! Whenever I buy ice at the store now, it always need an ice pick to break it up so this really comes in handy!! I'm very pleased!

I wanted this tool to be able to break up ice in coolers that we use for serving drinks. It does an amazing job of breaking up ice chunks from bags of ice.I did decide to break up some ice chunks in my cooler with beers in it. LESSON LEARNED!! 😂 I exploded 3 cans of beer! Just a little jab jab jab - and it went through the ice so well it punctured the cans. So use on ice! Don’t use when you have anything IN the ice!!!

A couple of times a year I clean out the ice maker's bucket, this time it was large chunk of ice and my old regular ice pic was just not making anything but holes in the block, so I ordered this pic, it arrived a day later, within fifteen minutes of unwrapping it the bucket was empty, wiped out and fresh ice was making!So easy to use and really did a great job.....where has been for the last ??? years!!

I have a nugget ice maker and I transfer the ice to my freezer container. It tends to stick together so I have this in there to break it up and it works fantastically! Highly recommend this tool. Works so much better than the scoop alone. Only one issue - I did not received the tongs, but I wouldn’t use them anyway so I don’t really care.

I buy 16lb bags of ice cubes/chunks from an Ice House dispenser a couple of blocks from home. I live in FL - HOT. The bags are too large to fit into my cooler. It melts a little on the way home & when it refreezes, the cubes are stuck together. This ice tool is plenty sturdy for breaking the blob of ice up in the freezer. Easy peasy!

I’ve enjoyed hacking away at the ice with this pick, so much so that I have to remind myself that some ice is required for the glass. Very sharp, so dare is needed.
