I had never seen an ice pick with 3 prongs before - only the ones that look like a long nail with a handle. I decided to give this a try based on the good reviews and I'm really glad that I did. It works much better than the single prong pick and breaks ice much more quickly and I feel that is also breaks the ice more safely. This one seems like a quality item, feels to he the right weight in my hand, the handle is comfortable to hold and it looks like a premium addition to my kitchen utensils. Kudos to whoever came up with this design. Gotta love innovation :)

Has good weight to it and works perfectly. I like fork-like pick. Been using a steak knife for months, wish I bought sooner.

It's sturdy and with more than one prong it breaks the ice up easily. Not like the old style ice picks. Going to buy another one for our camper.

We use this to chip off parts of ice blocks so they fit in our shaved ice machine better. It's been in and out of water for the past year or so and it's held up well considering that. I've never had a problem with it and it always did its job.

Love the quality and effective at breaking up ice. But could be wicked if you got your hand in the way. Worked as expected.

Our freezer's ice maker has been leaking water so all the ice had wound up in giant blocks. We'll get it fixed eventually, but I needed a way to make our tea so I bought this. I have to say, taking an ice pick to a small freezer glacier is way more fun than I expected it would be. And this one works great. Doesn't take much force, the three teeth on it are sharp and strong, so it breaks apart easily. At least we don't have to be in a rush to get the repairman out here
